New Pokemon Snap is filled with countless optional requests that players can complete after certain requirements are met. The majority of these requests help players discover new photo opportunities and Pokemon behaviors that help fill out every star in the photodex.

One request that's available in the Lental Seafloor after reaching at least course level three is known as A Ring of Bubbles. In order for New Pokemon Snap players to unlock it, they must register Alomomola in their photodex. This will cause Todd to give this request in the request menu.

The only item that players need for this request is the pink Illumina Orb, which most players should have if they've reached course level three in this area. The area for this request is additionally very early on in the course, allowing players to easily retry the course if they miss the shot or opportunity.

As soon as the course begins, players should keep their view toward the left. They will need to look out for an Alomomola and a Luvdisc. Once they are found, players need to use an Illumina Orb on both of them.

If successful with the Illumina Orb throws, both Luvdisc and Alomomola will swim off to the side on their own. Players should keep their camera focused on them, as Alomomola will begin blowing a ring shaped bubble around Luvdisc. The two don't need to be continually pelted with Illumina Orbs to keep the event active as they will continue until its completion after they are first hit.

In order to make the photo count toward the request, players need to make sure of two things. The first is that the photo has Alomomola as the subject instead of Luvdisc. The second thing is that the photo of Alomomola blowing the rings needs to be the photo submitted under Alomomola when submitting photos to Professor Mirror for review. Just taking the picture isn't enough to register the request as completed. Players should also note that only these specific Alomomola and Luvdisc are related to this request and not any others located throughout the course.

For players wanting the best possible shot of this moment for their albums or scoring, they can take advantage of Alomomola and Luvdisc's placement in the Lental Seafloor course. With them both being early in the stage, it is easy to quit the course from the pause menu, review the photos, then decide if its worth retaking the photos.
