Johnny Cage has some pretty eye opening fatalities ands brutalities. These are the ones that stand out most.

Jonathan Carlton, or "Johnny Cage," is one of the most iconic characters in the Mortal Kombat series. Primarily an action movie star and martial artist, Johnny was an original character, debuting in the first arcade game. He is a central character, and a popular one at that alongside Raiden and Liu Kang. Cage has a daughter - Cassie - with Sonia Blade, though the two are now divorced.

He used to be a struggling actor in Hollywood before entering the Mortal Kombat tournament to display his fighting skills and prove himself to film critics. Though Johnny was seen as just a stuntman, not a real fighter (or actor). He winds up becoming one of the most important defenders of Earthrealm. Even though Johnny Cage is immature and dense, he is brave and loyal. That being said, Johnny's also annoying...and brash...but at the same time, funny as heck. These are some of Johnny's most iconic Fatalities & Brutalities.

10 Head Pop

The Head Pop is a finisher where Johnny Cage performs a brutal uppercut on his opponent. This punch is powerful enough that Johnny Cage's fists will glow with green energy, and it is so vicious that it tears their head right off.

When he starts glowing with green energy, that means Johnny Cage is activating his Shadow abilities. He descended from a Mediterranean cult that bred warriors for the gods. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Gold, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, and Mortal Kombat X.)

9 Torso Rip

The Torso Rip is a finisher where Johnny Cage grabs his enemy around the torso and twists it all the way around. Then, as the name suggests, he rips it straight off. Afterward, Johnny Cage just tosses it to the ground.

He is quite acrobatic during combat, and strong enough to perform such a move. This same finisher is also used in the Kreate-A-Fatality in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Gold, and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.)

8 Mic Check

The Mic Check is a finisher where Johnny Cage performs a backward throw but rather than push the opponent away he instead grabs a boom mic and smashes their knees with it. Then Johnny Cage shoves the entire thing down their throat. He ends with a mic check (at their mouth.)

Why does Johnny Cage carry around a microphone, especially while he is in combat? Because Johnny Cage is the typical American action movie star! (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat 11.)

7 Heads Up

The Heads Up is a finisher where Johnny Cage decapitates his opponent with an uppercut. That is not all though. He follows up by ripping off their torso and slamming it into the ground, then bouncing their severed head off the ground into the air and catching it, holding it up in the sky like a trophy.

It is no surprise Johnny Cage would give a trophy to himself like that. He is, after all, the cockiest man in all of Earthrealm. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat 11.)

6 Wow Out

The Wow Out is a finisher where Johnny Cage performs the Speed Bag combo move but this time it just goes on and on. Eventually, the opponent's face falls off and then he delivers an uppercut that breaks their neck. Finally, Johnny Cage winds up another punch but stops suddenly and just pushes them over with his finger (while chuckling to himself).

In combat, the Speed Bag move has the player tapping both punch buttons as fast as possible. However, the combo meter only goes up to 9 hits before resetting. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat X.)

5 And The Winner Is...

The And The Winner Is... is a finisher where Johnny Cage karate chops the head of the opponent in half. Then he whips out a trophy and says out loud: "And the award goes to..." Following this, Johnny Cage plants it in their head and pushes them over with his finger

Even the trophy itself resembles Johnny Cage himself. On it says, "Excellence Award; Best Actor." (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat 11.)

4 Here's Johnny Cage

The Here's Johnny Cage is a finisher where Johnny Cage slaps his opponent, spinning them around. Then he plunges his hands into their back. Johnny Cage tears a hole in their torso.

Following this, he peeks his head through their body and says "Here's Johhny!" before they faceplant to the ground on their own. This is a reference to the famous scene from The Shining. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat X.)

3 Little Improv

The Little Improv is a finisher where Johnny Cage throws his opponent onto the ground and then beats them to a pulp. He takes their head and smashes it against the ground over and over. Johnny Cage utilizes his Shadow powers to go faster and faster until they are reduced to just mush...afterward, he just walks away.

While sometimes Johnny Cage's Shadow powers are represented by green energy, other times it could be red energy. Beyond powering up his punches and kicks, he also has the ability to launch blasts of energy. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat X.)

2 Mr. Cage's Neighborhood

The Mr. Cage's Neighborhood is a finisher where Johnny Cage punches his opponent so hard that they spin around. Then, he thrusts his fist into their back and kicks them so hard they split in half. Following this, things go pitch black except for a spotlight on Johhny Cage.

He starts performing, doing a ventriloquist routine using the body as a dummy. Finally, the audience boos him and starts throwing tomatoes...one hits him in the face, but he just smiles. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat 11.)

1 Who Hired This Guy

The Who Hired This Guy is a finisher where Johnny Cage uppercuts the opponent and breaks their jaw, leaving it dangling. Suddenly, a woman nearby yells "Cut! Reset!" and then a boom mic appears so he has to do it again... So, Johnny Cage uppercuts the opponent again, completely obliterating their jaw off and destroying their throat as well. But the woman comes out again and tells him to do it over yet again. To this, Johnny Cage replies, "Who hired this guy, what the ****" (the game bleeps the f-word).

Then he performs the finisher 19 more times before finally punching the opponent in the head and getting his hand stuck in there. Now Johnny Cage is angry and so he throws the head at the player's screen and cracks it. Finally, Johnny Cage walks away, with his middle finger up. (This finisher appears in Mortal Kombat 11.)
