In New Pokemon Snap, there are dozens of photo requests that players can complete in order to get new rewards and bragging rights.

New Pokemon Snap players that are looking to fully complete the game by getting all of the pictures for the Photodex will learn that completing requests from the NPCs can really help out with that. Most requests involve taking a photo of a certain Pokemon performing a specific action. One quest, in particular, Staredown for Venusaur, requires folks to snap a photo of the powerful Grass-type.

In order to find a Venusaur that'll meet the requirements for this request must have access to Founja Jungle's day stage, but at research level 3. If players need help increasing the research level for New Pokemon Snap's stages, they can read Game Rant's other guide.

Once New Pokemon Snap players hop into the level 3 stage, they should immediately spot an Arbok on the right side of the stage. If players hit the Arbok with a single Fluffruit, it'll slither away further into the level. A few seconds later, players should be able to see the Arbok on the right side of the stage once again, hidden by some foliage. If players scan with the X button, they should see the Arbok and then a Venusaur behind it by a tree. Players need to quickly lure the Arbok closer to the Venusaur by tossing Fluffruit to make a clear path.

If done correctly, the Arbok will now come in contact with the Venusaur and a short staredown will commence. The pair of Pokemon won't be battling with one another, but Venusaur will run away shortly after the staredown, so players will need to snap the perfect photo of the two Pokemon staring at each other before Venusaur dips out. Instead of snapping just one photo, players should take a couple just in case Professor Mirror gets picky about the final picture during the rating session.

Once the photo has been taken and players feel confident, they can choose to either continue the stage like normal or quit out of the expedition via the pause menu. This won't make players lose any progress, as all photos will still count even if the stage isn't finished.

Choose the correct picture of the two staring at each other and players should have the request finally finished. This will help players get one step closer to 100% completion in New Pokemon Snap.

New Pokemon Snap is now available for the Nintendo Switch as an exclusive title.
