The Call of Duty franchise is continuing to expand, and now a rumor is spreading that Call of Duty: Warzone could be headed for mobile. While Call of Duty: Mobile does have a battle royale option, cross-play integration is still lacking for the popular title. Many Call of Duty: Warzone fans believe that a mobile port for the battle royale would be more successful, provided it is a viable option.
While there is still no official confirmation, many other battle royale titles have taken the leap to mobile platforms. Fortnite and PUBG are both available on mobile, and Call of Duty: Warzone would be smart to make a similar leap of faith. The possibility that this could happen is only growing stronger as fans discover a job post that possibly hints at the future port.

The job appeared on Linked in with the Activision Mobile team expanding their roles. While this looks to be a general job opportunity with positions available reaching from Engineering to System Designers, fans noticed a small detail in the tags that seem slightly out of place. Call of Duty: Warzone recently expanded with Toys for Bob working on the franchise, and they appear in the tags alongside Raven Software and Treyarch. Considering this is a hiring ad for the mobile division, it is not surprising that the community has connected the dots and are looking at the possibility for a mobile Call of Duty: Warzone experience.
Previously, there was a job listing for an 'Executive Producer-Mobile' position designed to integrate Call of Duty: Warzone into mobile devices. While fans still lack a formal announcement, many believe that the core team for a mobile port is being constructed, and slowly the right hires are being found to make it possible.
Activision's mobile division recently posted 50 new roles on the career page. This massive shift towards modern mobile gaming and the company's focus on Call of Duty brews several interesting prospects for the franchise's future. The jobs are designed to develop a new mobile title, and many fans believe that Call of Duty: Warzone may be this strange new project.
Do note that Activision-Blizzard have not officially announced a mobile port as of yet. This is a prediction of what could happen, and the evidence does suggest a new mobile experience is in the pipeline. While players wait for a full reveal of the new project, many Call of Duty: Warzone players are turning to Call of Duty: Mobile for their portable battle royale action.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
