Eivor will have to work hard to find the rarest items in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla. How are these weapons, armor sets, and items acquired?

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has all the makings of a modern RPG title, save for the fact that players cannot create their own characters. Other than that, though, the customization opportunity is stupendous. There is a wide array of weapons, armor sets, and other items that the players can pick up in this game. However, a couple of them are much trickier to find than others.

These rare items are hard to find or require following a complex process to acquire them. However, what they bring to the table makes the process very worthwhile. Some of these items are powerhouses in terms of combat, and some just make the player look very stylish as they traverse the world of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

10 Nodens' Arc

The Nodens' Arc is a bow the players can equip in the game. It is an Isu weapon. Like all weapons that are of Isu origins, it is decorated with glowing lines and lights. It is named after the Celtic god of hunters Nodens.

The process of getting the Nodens' Arc is very interesting and complex. Players were only able to decipher how to finally get this weapon by translating Isu scripts using Layla Hassan's computer. To get this weapon, players will need to hit a glowing rock in a lake in northern Eurvicscire using the Excalibur sword. This guide goes through the process of acquiring this bow in detail.

9 Gungnir

Those who prefer using spears in Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be glad to know that they can use the spear of Odin in the game. Gungnir is an Isu artifact, created by Ivaldi, and wielded by Odin himself.

Gungnir can be acquired in Goinnhellir, a cave in Norway's Hordefylke. The player can return to this location after traveling here for the first time with Sigurd. They'll be able to find the spear inside the cave. This spear pulsates with power. Gungnir has the capability of extending its reach, allowing it to have a very wide area of attack.

8 Excalibur

It would be blasphemy to create a game about ancient England and not include the legendary Excalibur, originally wielded by King Arthur himself. In the Assassin's Creed universe, the Excalibur is created by none other than Hephaestus. At some point in history, it was lodged in a stone, to be picked up by King Arthur later on.

To get this weapon, players will have to do a lot of exploration. They will first need to collect all 11 Treasures of Britain and place them on their designated slots. As this guide explains in detail, these tablets can be found in underground caves and looted off from zealots.

7 Thor's Armor Set

Thor is one of the most popular Norse gods among the pantheon. Those who want to sport his look can do so by collecting his armor set in the game. This task, however, is easier said than done.

To complete Thor's set, players will have to first defeat the Daughters of Lerion, a process that will reward them with three pieces of the armor. Then, they'll need to visit the Lerion Estate for Thor's Helmet. Finally, players will need to defeat all the members of the Order of the Ancients to get Thor's Cape.

6 Mjolnir

Thor's Mjolnir is probably one of the most popular mythological weapons in fiction today, mainly due to the rising popularity of Norse mythology and Thor's characterization in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those who want to wield Mjolnir can do so in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but the road to get there is far from linear.

Mjolnir can only be claimed after the player collects and wears every single piece of Thor's armor set. Once that task is complete, the player can then travel to Hordafylke to get Thor's mighty hammer.

5 Gorgon Shield

The Gorgon Shield is a light shield adorned with the image of the Gorgon Medusa. Getting this item isn't easy, but its design and function are very rewarding. Before the player can set out to do what they need to do to get this shield, they must first make sure that they've already built a museum on Ravensthorpe.

Once the museum is built, they must then collect all 52 Roman Artifacts scattered all around the world. They must then give that to Octavian in the museum, who will reward the player with the Gorgon Shield.

4 Swordfish

The Swordfish greatsword is one of the most unorthodox weapons in Assassin's Creed Valhalla in terms of design. It looks exactly as it sounds. It's ridiculous, which is why players should take the time to collect it.

To get this insane-looking greatsword, the player will need to complete every single fishing delivery quest from the Fishing Hut located in Ravensthorpe, a task that is way more difficult than it sounds.

3 Magyar Hunting Bow

The Magyar Hunting Bow is another item the player can collect by completing the delivery quests of a certain establishment in Ravensthorpe. For this weapon, the player will need to first build the Hunter's Hut.

This hut is overseen by Petra and her brother. There's actually a very interesting side quest that you can do with these two as well. However, for the Magyar Hunting Bow, the player will need to complete every single Hunter Deliveries.

2 Hidden Ones' Armor Set

During Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the Assassins Brotherhood goes by the name of the Hidden Ones, which is considered by many as the precursor to the original brotherhood. While Eivor isn't technically an ordained member of the Hidden Ones, she can collect the Hidden Ones' Armor Set to look like one.

This armor set is far from easy to complete. The player must first build a Hidden Ones' Bureau in Ravensthorpe. After that, they can talk to Haytham who will task them with locating five codex pages which are all located in hidden bureaus scattered around England. Each piece of the armor set can be found in a Hidden Ones' Bureau.

1 Wolf Mount

Wolf mounts can be purchased from the in-game store. However, a player doesn't need to do that if they want to own a wolf mount. They can simply turn to Reda's Shop.

The items in Reda's Shop are only available for a period of time before they are replaced by other unique and rare items. Some of the items that players can find here are wolf mounts, like Hati and Muspell Warg.
