Resident Evil Village has many useful items to find, and players looking to clear out the Main Hall could benefit from knowing where to look.

Resident Evil Village is the latest installment in Capcom’s popular survival horror franchise, which sees the return of protagonist Ethan Winters on a mission to find his kidnapped daughter. In less than a week, Resident Evil Village has already achieved impressive sales numbers for Capcom, which means there are plenty of gamers that need to know the Main Hall item locations if they hope to clear all the red off their maps.

While exploring Resident Evil Village, players will notice that the map shades each location in red, signifying that there are still some items to find in that area. Once the player has found and procured every item in the area, the map will change the shading to blue.

In the Main Hall of Castle Dimitrescu, players must find six items that are hidden across two floors. It's also likely that they may have to avoid, or fight, Resident Evil Village's possible vampire Lady Dimitrescu while they do it.

Entering the Main Hall from the Hall of the Four (where players brought the 4 angel masks they had to find earlier in Resident Evil Village), players must turn right immediately. Along the wall there are two chairs and, beside them, there is a small dresser. Players will see a prompt when they approach the right-most drawer and, inside, they’ll find a box of Handgun Ammo.

From there, players must walk to the opposite (northeast) corner of the room, in which they will find a large, ornate vase. After breaking the vase, players will find around 330 Lei. Grabbing the coins completes the first floor of the Main Hall, so players must now take the stairs to the second floor.

At the top of the stairs, players will see a doorway on the right side of the mezzanine, draped by blue curtains, that leads to the south hallway. The hallway turns right sharply after the doorway, and players will see a framed portrait above two chairs immediately following the turn. If players look up at the top of the frame, they will see the telltale glimmer of a Crystal Fragment. Shooting this glimmer will cause the Fragment to fall into reach, and Crystal Fragments are very valuable in Resident Evil Village.

Continuing down the hallway, players will see a vase sitting at the very end of the hallway, near the Prioress Door. Breaking this vase gives the players another box of Handgun Ammo. Now, players can continue across the mezzanine and enter the north hallway through the opposite doorway (also draped with blue curtains).

Turning left, players will see an ornate jar on a wooden stand, immediately to their left along the wall. This jar provides around 200 Lei when broken. Players must then run to the end of the hallway where they will see a third vase sitting in an alcove on their left. Players must break this vase to receive Gunpowder.

Once all six items have been collected, players will notice that the first and second floors have been shaded blue on their maps. With these hidden items found, collectors can set about looking for the other hidden secrets in Resident Evil Village that many still haven't found.

Resident Evil Village is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
