A Call of Duty: Warzone battle pass feature is frustrating some fans as they lose COD points due to a design issue in the battle pass UI.

Each Call of Duty: Warzone season comes with its own set of interesting and unique content. From cosmetic rewards to COD points, the pass offers a versatile selection of unlocks that can appeal to many different fans. While progress is reliant upon Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War participation, many fans believe that the rewards are worth it.

While the developers have refined the battle pass UI over time, one feature continues to plague players who scroll into its tab. Navigating the battle pass is a simple system, and it shows an unlock animation for players to celebrate Call of Duty: Warzone's new battle pass tiers. The button to skip this animation is the same as another feature found in this window, causing some frustration.

The Call of Duty: Warzone battle pass can be purchased by fans for only 1,000 COD points. Due to the pass awarding 1,300 COD points throughout a season, many fans prefer to save up their points for future purchases or future battle pass releases. To aid players in their progression, Call of Duty: Warzone offers a tier skip function for players who want to gain some extra momentum.

The button to purchase a Call of Duty: Warzone battle pass tier is bound to the same button that skips the intro animation, which results in accidental purchases. A tier only costs 150 COD points, but after multiple accidents, players can quickly deplete their points, making it harder for them to save for bundles and cosmetics.

Reddit user Star_of_Siruis is among many fans who have accidentally bought tier skips with no refund opportunity. The game does not confirm the purchase, and once the button is pressed, there is no way to go back. Many Call of Duty: Warzone fans are frustrated by this feature, and some even believe that it could be designed this way intentionally.

Fans point toward many other Call of Duty: Warzone features that request confirmation before applying funds. From buying back teammates in-game to bundle purchases, fans are asked to confirm their decisions. Despite this, battle pass tier skips do not request any form of confirmation before applying the purchase to the player's account.

Activision has not commented on the feature thus far, leaving fans with only one solution. Players must be careful when navigating the Call of Duty: Warzone battle pass and be observant of their button presses. Any hastily pressed actions could result in accidental purchases, so it may be best to let the animation play through.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
