Destiny 2's Season of the Splicer brings with it new Stasis aspects and Fragments for Guardians to change how they use their Stasis Subclasses.

Destiny 2, Season of the Splicer is here and Guardians are already exploring the new seasonal content. While many Guardians will be exploring the new Seasonal Story missions in Destiny 2, Guardians should not forget about the new Stasis Aspects.

Season of the Splicer takes place during the Beyond Light expansion, and as such, it has new Stasis Aspects for Guardians to unlock and change their Stasis abilities. Guardians have one new Aspect per class to unlock by visiting the vendor who is no longer a Stranger, Elsie Bray.

Guardians will need to speak with Elsie to pick up the new Aspect of Interference quest, sending Guardians to investigate a new Entropic Shard in Kell’s Rising. After investigating the Entropic Shard, Guardians will need to complete the Heroic simulation before returning to the Ziggurat to complete the questline.

Completing this Destiny 2 questline will give Guardians the new Aspect for their class. Hunters get the Touch of Winter, Warlocks get Glacial Harvest, and the Titans get Diamond Lance.

The Hunter Aspect, Touch of Winter, enhances the functionality of the three Stasis Grenades: Glacial, Duskfield, and Coldsnap. Glacial Grenade will add a Stasis Crystal and change its formation. The Duskfield Grenade, however, will increase its slow-field size and create a small Stasis Crystal on impact. Coldsnap Grenade will travel farther, faster, and chain one additional time.

Warlocks get an Aspect similar to the Hunter’s Grim Harvest and the Titan’s Tectonic Harvest. The Glacial Harvest for Warlocks will make Stasis Shards around a target when they are frozen with higher tier combatants creating more shards. This could pair really well with the new Exotic Sidearm, Cryosthesia 77K.

One of the more unique Aspects, the Diamond Lance, is for the Titans. Shattering or defeating targets with Stasis Abilities creates a Stasis Lance. The “Shoot” function will throw the lance to freeze targets on impact. Melee, however, will slam the lance to the ground to freeze targets in a small area.

The Season of the Splicer Stasis Aspects add to the current selection that each class has, further increasing combinations of Aspects and Fragments that a Guardian can create. The Aspect and Fragment system used by Stasis is proving to be the highly customizable Subclass that Bungie promised.

Guardians looking to make the most of their Stasis Subclass in Destiny 2 will want to get these Aspects to add to their collection. Hunters with enhanced grenades, Warlocks finally getting a Harvest Aspect, and Titans wielding a lance made of Stasis certainly give Guardians fresh ways to augment their current Stasis Subclass builds.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
