Following the release of Resident Evil Village, the newest entry in the classic survival horror series has seen a great deal of success. With refined, first-person gameplay mechanics first introduced in Resident Evil 7 accompanied by new villains and a new setting, for survival horror fans Resident Evil Village has a lot to offer. However, one aspect that many fans have praised about the game is Lady Dimitrescu.

Well before the game even released, Lady Dimitrescu was a huge selling point for many in the gaming community. Her imposing, sinister, and memorable character design left a strong impression on many players, to the point where Lady Dimitrescu served as a primary resource for advertising Resident Evil Village in the months leading to its release. She has also been the subject of numerous cosplays.

The most recent cosplay of Lady Dimitrescu is from supersailorvirgo on Instagram, and it is incredible. The makeup alone is finely detailed, especially the contouring of her eyelashes, and the yellow contact lenses are a nice touch. Everything from the hat, the dress, the broach, and the spooky set decorations makes this one impressive cosplay.

It's amazing how much popularity Lady Dimitrescu has achieved in such a short time. The very first Resident Evil released several decades ago, but it took several years before characters like Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine would receive the level of recognition they have today. Even so, Lady Dimitrescu caught the attention of many Resident Evil fans well before Resident Evil Village released.

For how popular her character has become, it seems unlikely that Lady Dimitrescu will be making an appearance in any other Resident Evil installment. Perhaps at some point she could make an appearance in Resident Evil RE:Verse sometime in the future, but seeing as that game is as new as Resident Evil Village, fans of her character likely won't see her in RE:Verse anytime soon.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms of Resident Evil. The remake of Resident Evil 4 could potentially get revealed at some point this year, and there are also numerous Resident Evil TV and film projects releasing as well. In addition to Resident Evil Village, this makes now is as good a time as any to be a fan of Resident Evil.
