Fans of the original Mass Effect trilogy have been waiting with bated breath for the release of the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to relive the Commander Shepard's battle against the Reapers. This excitement has been reflected online through various outlets, whether it be fan art or cosplay highlighting their favorite moments and characters from the trilogy. One cosplayer in particular is making the rounds online for their detailed and faithful recreation of Shepard's loyal Quarian companion, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition throws players back into the original trilogy, taking full advantage of the power PCs and the current generation of consoles provide. It's release comes nearly a decade after the release of Mass Effect 3 and includes the first three games and most of the downloadable content from developer BioWare so fans can re-visit the complete adventure.

The piece of cosplay making the rounds on Reddit and Twitter is courtesy of user Wolnir_cosplay. She describes herself as a "cosplayer" and "freelance artist" on her Twitter who regularly shares video game-inspired cosplay on her social media platforms. Some of the other games she has done cosplay for include The Division 2, Assassin's Creed: Origins, and Silent Hill 2. However, it's her faithful Tali cosplay that appears to have caught the eye of other Mass Effect fans online.
Her Tali cosplay takes inspiration from the character's Mass Effect 3 base appearance, despite having a wealth of choices as she is one of only two companions to join Shepard for all three games. Wolnir's cosplay includes the Arc heavy pistol obtained during the Quarian's attempt to retake their homeworld from the Geth. Wolnir matches up nearly every detail with Tali's appearance in Mass Effect 3, from the detailed cloth to the purple mask hiding Tali's face.
Wolnir's cosplay is just one example of the love fans have for BioWare's sci-fi epic which was a tentpole series for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Tali, in particular, is one of the most beloved characters in the series as players get to witness her growth from a nervous, awkward young Quarian on her pilgramige to a strong, confident leader for the Quarian people. One of the only other characters to be given this kind of love by BioWare in the series is the Turian Garrus Vakarian, who is the only other Mass Effect squad member available to players in all three games.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
