A photo taken in downtown Atlanta and posed to Reddit shows a possible link between Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3 and the PS4 game.

A new photo has emerged via the r/Spiderman Reddit board that could hint at a possible connection between the next MCU Spider-Man film and the acclaimed PS4 game. The photo, courtesy of user u/Archon457, appears to show a parked moving van with the logo F.E.A.S.T written on the side, with text below it showing that the acronym stands for "Food. Emergency Aid. Shelter & Training".

Anyone who has played Spider-Man Ps4 will recognize the name F.E.A.S.T as the homeless shelter that Aunt May helped run. There are several key missions in the game that are set in, or around the shelter, but what’s really important is who founded F.E.A.S.T and what it could mean for the next Spidey film. In the game, F.E.A.S.T was founded by wealthy humanitarian Martin Li. However, Li also moonlights as Mister Negative, the feared leader of the gang known as The Inner Demons.

During the course of the game, it’s revealed that when Li was a child his parents brought him to Oscorp founder and CEO Norman Osborne, to seek experimental medical treatment for a mysterious illness. Li was injected with what’s known in the game as “Devil's Breath,” an experimental serum that caused him to develop the ability to manipulate “negative energy”. Tragically, it also triggered an explosion that killed his parents, making the young Li an orphan at the age of Seven. He would go on to spend the rest of his childhood in foster care.

Li returned to his homeland of China at the age of 18 to claim his family's fortune in the shipping industry. He used this wealth to create F.E.A.S.T, motivated by the idea of preventing anyone else from being abandoned and forgotten. Although he seems kind at first, Li is bent on getting revenge on Osborne, now the mayor of New York. Li spends much of the game using his Inner Demon goons to wreak havoc on New York, attempting to expose Osborne as a liar and use the Devil's Breath against him and the city.

At the moment it’s unclear whether the appearance of the F.E.A.S.T logo means Mister Negative will appear in the next live-action Spider-Man movie. The untitled Far From Home sequel has already had its fair share of casting rumors and speculations over the last few months. Alfred Molina and Jamie Fox are rumored to be reprising their roles as Doc Ock and Electro and even past Spider-Man actors Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield are rumored to make an appearance. Daredevil's Charlie Cox has even been reportedly spotted on the set.

Whether or not this means Mister Negative will show up to do battle with Tom Holland's Spider-Man or if it's just a simple “blink and you’ll miss it” Easter egg, it's an interesting detail that has fans excited. Also, at the beginning of Spider-Man: Far From Home, there’s a scene where Aunt May is hosting a charity event for “people who have been displaced by the blip,” so perhaps this is just a simple extension of Aunt May’s generous spirit. Hopefully, she does not share the fate of her PS4 counterpart.

The untitled Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel is currently scheduled for release on December 17th, 2021.
