GameStop is listing a number of different anime-style games at discounts up to 50 percent off, spanning a handful of genres and consoles.

In recent years, Anime-style games have been incredibly successful. With games like Persona 5, these titles have been set to dominate a unique market segment. Right now, gamers can obtain multiple highly rated anime games at a steep discounted, some even 50 percent off, from GameStop's anime game sale.

The GameStop sale includes many highly rated games such as Persona 5, but is not limited to that. With varied styles of gameplay, there appears to be something for many styles of gamer. From turn-based JRPG to fighting and action RPG, the options are fairly varied.

Some of the best deals include Persona 5 Royal Edition, marked down to $34.99. However, some stores provide this deal with the Steelbook, as long as you select in-store pickup. Fans of Persona 5 can also pick up Persona 5 Strikers, marked down $20, selling for just $39.99. Jumping off where Persona 5 left off, players will get to play in a different style of combat and explore different areas. There is also Sakura Wars, a visual novel/JRPG style, which has been marked down 50 percent and is selling for $29.99. This also includes a sticker set, costume DLC, and a reversible cover.

Fans of Dragon Ball and other assorted shonen-style anime should be pleased to hear that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Jump Force are also receiving a discount. With exploration and RPG-style gameplay, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has kept fans engaged with an assortment of DLC pertaining to different periods of the manga and anime.

Jump Force has provided a crossover 3D fighting game that many anime fans have grown to love. Whether it's One Piece, HunterXHunter, or others, fans are likely to find their favorite fighter in the game. Both games are marked down, with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot selling for $19.99 and Jump Force going for $14.99 for both the PS4 and Xbox One.

Many of these games have earned high marks and are widely praised by fans across the spectrum. While not limited to these titles, these are more highly touted JRPGs available during the sale. However, GameStop has included some games that have not been marked down on the sale page. While the other games have been well received, they are not on sale.

It is unknown how long the sale will last, so fans will want to snatch up the titles that they're looking for. With deals up to 50 percent off, people can go to Gamestop's website and get their backlog up to date.
