Call of Duty: Warzone is getting what just might be its craziest weapon bundle yet, as gamers will be able to play music by inspecting a gun.

Call of Duty: Warzone has received some crazy weapon customization options in the past, though its latest gun is possibly the most absurd yet. If players load up the game now, they can see the gun in action through the Call of Duty: Warzone marketplace.

Part of the “Music Legend” Mastercraft bundle, players can access a version of the FFAR Assault Rifle that comes with a keyboard attached. The gun itself is blue and white, and it looks as close to a musical instrument as possible thanks to its unique stock. Small amps, buttons, and bars line the side of the gun, with bits of gold accenting the weapon to give it a more regal look. While it would be a fun design if the keyboard was just for show, this Mastercraft weapon goes above and beyond by allowing players to jam out in their matches.

As shown in a clip from the official Call of Duty Twitter account, Call of Duty: Warzone players only need to inspect the “Shredder” FFAR to trigger the music. Once done, their Operator will turn the gun on its side and play several notes on its keyboard. The animation is unique, as it sees the character using all their fingers to expertly play a song on the gun’s mini piano. Based on the clip, the music will play rather loudly as well, ensuring that those on both the friendly and enemy teams can hear the gun in action.

The track itself should sound familiar to Call of Duty Zombies fans, as it features in the Die Maschine survival map. Triggered by finding three cassette tapes, the song “Alone” features a catchy set of opening notes. These same notes are played on the keyboard, and while the vocals do not accompany them, the music is a great nod to Kevin Sherwood’s work. While any random notes could have been played, having a song from Zombies incorporated is an awesome touch.

With the FFAR being the template for the “Shredder,” the gun will be usable in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as well. It does not come alone, however, as a matching version of the Diamatti pistol called “Amped Up” is included. A Legendary skin for the Operator Wolf will remove his beard and replace his short hair with long locks fitting of a “Rockstar,” with a jacket included as well. A working compass watch will be included alongside an emblem, calling card, vehicle skin, and disco ball weapon charm.

As is the case with most Mastercraft Call of Duty bundles, this musical pack will be on the expensive side. For those interested in purchasing it, they will need to have 2400 COD points ready to go.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
