While Black Panther will be next for Marvel's Avengers, there's reason to believe that Jennifer Walters's She-Hulk will be after that.

Bruce Banner's cousin She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, is one of the smartest heroes in the Avengers. Retaining her human personality as the She-Hulk, albeit at the cost of slightly less strength than her cousin, Walters is able to get the best of both worlds as a lawyer and superhuman. She-Hulk is an invaluable asset to Marvel's Avengers and, according to leaks, will be smashing her way through the game in the future. Jessica Walters is supposedly going to make her debut in Marvel's Avengers some time after Black Panther this summer.

Nothing has been confirmed, even the appearance of She-Hulk herself, but prominent leakers have been pointing to her arrival since August 2020 and haven't let up since. While she's less known to new Marvel fans, the upcoming She-Hulk TV show and introduction of her character into this game seem to comprise an effort to make She-Hulk more familiar. With the series coming sometime in 2022, fans might be able to expect She-Hulk to land in Marvel's Avengers sometime in late 2021 to early 2022.

Jennifer Walters was the average lawyer working for the betterment of society until, one day, when she is shot by a mobster and critically injured. The only way she can be saved is if Bruce gives some of his blood for a transfusion, as he had nothing else on hand. Because of the constant gamma radiation running through his veins, Jennifer Walters turned into the much more controlled She-Hulk. This could very well be Walters's introduction into the Avenger's game, seeing Banner having to run off to help her and then deal with her transformation.

The story could revolve around the mob-boss who put out a hit on Walters in the first place. As a prominent lawyer, Jennifer Walters was defending someone who had been cheated by Bolivar Trask, so the businessman sent thugs after her. This intro story could see She-Hulk tasked with following the Trask investigation, with the Avengers helping her stop the variety of inventions he came up with to try and stop her. There's also an emotional element, which the Marvel's Avengers game has done a good job of tracing throughout their stories. Of course, it's likely to be somewhat adapted into the in-game universe, but it's a solid premise nonetheless.

Like the Hulk, She-Hulk is a veritable powerhouse of strength, but much smarter. After receiving Bruce's gamma infected blood, Jennifer wouldn't realize her own powers until she was put in mortal danger, and they continued to grow throughout her canon. She-Hulk is a feminine version of the large green monster fans have come to know. She is able to retain her personality and brains as well as superior strength, almost matching the skills of the Hulk. This makes her an asset on the field, as her ability for planning is much more helpful than Hulk's impulsivity.

She-Hulk also has superhuman durability, meaning that her skin has been shown to withstand Fahrenheit temperatures from -190 to 3,000. Not that she'll need it, but she also has the ability to withstand most weapons and doesn't suffer from Earth diseases. Her leg muscles allow her to jump up to 600 feet into the air, and 1,000 feet across the landscape. In other series of comics, She-Hulk has also been shown to be able to switch bodies and produce a shockwave of Gamma energy.

Marvel's Avengers has proven that it isn't afraid to explore some lesser known stories and She-Hulk has her own variety of comic appearances. There are a number of places that Avengers could take She-Hulk that would each give players a unique experience. If the game wanted to forego the intro and start after She-Hulk has been tearing it up in the world, then the game could pick up after she leaves the Fantastic Four and joins up with the Avengers and her time at Blake Towers. This could even feature a cameo from the former Blonde Phantom.

The game could also see Walters after she was disbarred, employed as a bounty hunter. The story could follow She-Hulk going after some bounties with the help of the other Avengers. Maybe she's tasked with chasing down a high profile target from Modok and the Avengers happen upon her with the same goal. In this story arc, She-Hulk would eventually be arrested for getting too close to someone with a restraining order, but released when someone else needed her help. This arc would need a few changes, but would serve as a self-contained story for Marvel's Avengers to play around with.

The Final Host arc is the most current story featuring She-Hulk and would see the Dark Celestials attacking Earth. This would be an incredible fight for the Avengers, and She-Hulk would get an extra dose of Gamma in this scenario from one of the downcast Celestials. All while beginning to form an infatuation with Thor, She-Hulk would have to learn how to fight the Horde, and then the Dark Celestials. The Avengers are able to unite in a force of energy and able to defeat the Horde and the Dark Celestials.

She-Hulk is as tough as she is smart, and will make an exceptional character in Marvel's Avengers. That being said, the game will need to make her feel different to play as. She's know for her intelligence paired with her strength, but she should also show more than that. Whether she starts as a human or way past her transformation, the game will also benefit from seeing everyone react to two Hulks on the team. She-Hulk loves  to smash as much as her cousin, but only when the plan calls for it. She-Hulk could be coming to Marvel's Avengers sometime in the next year.

Marvel's Avengers is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
