The entirety of Battlefield 6’s reveal trailer audio is now online, and fans that listen can get a good idea of what to expect from the footage.

Battlefield 6 fans have been waiting a long time for the trailer, with rumors constantly swirling around potential release windows. With EA simply telling fans “spring,” and insiders indicating that it could come at any moment, gamers have been expecting to see the first footage for the game on several occasions. However, EA has now narrowed Battlefield 6’s reveal date to the month of June, finally giving fans some concrete info on when the first trailer will be shown.

However, for Battlefield 6 fans that have been keeping up with the many leaks for the game, what exactly this trailer will entail is not much of a mystery. Not only have reputable sources like Tom Henderson touched on several moments from the game’s trailer, but the entirety of the audio for the reveal has leaked online. Coming in two pieces, players now have the full two-and-a-half minutes of sound to listen to. While it is impossible to tell exactly what is going on at every moment in the trailer, it is possible to make some educated guesses. For those not worried about going into the reveal spoiler-free, here is what the audio reveals about Battlefield 6.

When looking at the first part of Battlefield 6’s trailer audio, fans should immediately notice the radio chatter heard at the start. Soldiers are clearly communicating over the radio, confirming that the game will indeed be primarily focused on the modern era. While it is unclear what this means for the Battlefield hub game rumors, it does confirm that fans will be seeing the franchise come back to the present day — or at least something close to it. Leakers have suggested that the game will feature a near future setting, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 used as a comparison.

Alongside confirmation of a near future time period for Battlefield 6, gamers listening to the audio get to hear some of the music that will be used in the next entry. While it keeps Battlefield’s signature style of intense beats, the theme sounds more Terminator-like than ever before. There are various levels to it throughout, including a portion later in the audio that presents a more majestic tone. The main style of music is remarkably similar to that of the other Battlefield games, though, which should please the fans that have grown accustomed to the series’ signature notes.

Overall, the first minute of the trailer audio primarily consists of some gunfire and shouting that is fitting of the firefights players will see in the footage. At the midway point of this audio, though, players can hear a countdown. With the leaked Battlefield 6 screenshots showing a rocket, and leaker Tom Henderson confirming that this rocket is destroyed in the trailer, players will likely see it launch and explode after this countdown. The debris will supposedly land on a group of soldiers, ending the first half of the trailer with a bang.

The second half of Battlefield 6’s reveal trailer audio is much like the first half, though there are two interesting moments worth picking out. After more gunfire and yelling, gamers hear the tone of the music change. The overall vibe of the orchestral change mirrors that of older Battlefield trailers, and the less intense tone implies that the reveal is changing course. For this brief 10-second window, it sounds as if several maps could be getting shown off, with Battlefield fans seeing the different areas in a visual spectacle.

The leaked screenshots for Battlefield 6 include a green island with Ospreys flying overhead, and this could be one of the areas shown during this segment. With leaker Tom Henderson previously reporting that the majority of the launch trailer focuses on a desert map, this would be the section to show off other locations. After this bit of graceful music ends, the music quickly builds up, with the last 20 seconds of the trailer defined by a big reveal of some kind. A soldier can be heard saying “oh my god... what is that thing” before the music reaches a new level of intensity.

No soldiers are heard in the final 10 seconds, with the focus being on showing whatever the “thing” is. Clearly, this reveal serves as a big finale to the trailer, meaning that the surprise will be something that could entice players to purchase the game. It will also apparently be a proper feature, though given that the soldiers are surprised by the item, it could be something completely out of left field. Thus far, theories suggest a mech from Battlefield: 2142 or a dinosaur, with the latter coming from Battlefield’s many dinosaur easter eggs and teasers over the years. With playful nods to a “Dino Mode” years back, DICE could finally be making the concept a reality.

With all these pieces, Battlefield 6 fans can get a clear idea as to what the trailer might look like. While EA has hyped up Battlefield 6’s reveal, it has confirmed that the trailer is still being worked on, so some elements from this leaked audio could change. Based on what fans have right now, though, they can expect the trailer to open with some soldiers helicoptering into an area or coming in on foot. Radio chatter will be heard as they do, with some fighting breaking out shortly after. A mix of gunfights and vehicle play will be seen, with the shout of “get into cover” one minute in likely seeing the two sides collide.

At a minute and 15 seconds in, players can expect to see a rocket launch, switching over to the perspective of a jet pilot as it is destroyed. Supposedly, the debris will land onto some soldiers and kill them, with an Osprey helicopter crash-landing onto another group at some point in the footage. From there, some more fighting will likely occur before a possible showcase of Battlefield 6’s maps. If a map display does not accompany the change in music, fans can expect some visually impressive moments to fill this slot instead, matching the slightly less exhilarating music. Through, Battlefield 6’s destruction should be on full display.

After more explosions and deaths, the final twenty seconds of Battlefield 6’s trailer will undoubtedly focus on whatever the creature or gadget is. With Battlefield 6’s robot dog rumors, though, a massive canine drone is a solid bet for the item in question. It is far from the only possibility, however, leaving Battlefield fans with one huge mystery heading into the reveal. Regardless, the audio gives fans a lot of insight into what will likely happen. With several memorable moments set up via this audio, the reveal trailer is shaping up to be a fan-pleaser once it debuts next month.
