Banshee-44's arms day is back, with the Destiny 2 Gunsmith providing weekly rolls on some of the game's Legendary weapons for Guardians to pick up.

Destiny 2 is loaded with different weapons, each with a different combination of perks that are available on the weapon. With Season of the Splicer, Bungie has given the Gunsmith, Banshee-44, a new role of providing randomly rolled Legendary weapons to Guardians every week in Destiny 2.

Banshee-44 has mostly sold mods and bounties in Destiny 2, but with this change to his inventory, Banshee-44 will bring Guardians six randomly rolled Legendary weapons in Destiny 2 every week. There was a bug last week that caused the weapons to change their rolls daily near the start of the week but that has since been fixed. However, a new bug causes some weapons to not come with their Masterwork trait.

This week, Banshee brings Guardians six more Legendary weapons, Whispering Slab, Night Watch, Seventh Seraph SI-2, The Vision, Berenger’s Memory, and Outrageous Fortune. The Vision is the only new Season of the Splicer weapon, even if it is a returning Future War Cult Weapon.

The Whispering Slab Bow comes with Rangefinder and Opening Shot, but is it currently bugged and not providing a Masterwork. Opening Shot is good here simply for landing that first shot but can also be activated on every shot if the player paces their shots enough. There are better rolls for this bow and without a masterwork on the weapon, players should look elsewhere.

Night Watch is a solid 200 RPM Kinetic Scout Rifle in Destiny 2 and Banshee’s roll this week is an Outlaw and Rampage combo. These two perks provide great synergy and make this Scout Rifle roll a great one. While this roll could be better with a different Masterwork, it is still a solid option for players who do not already have a god roll.

The Seventh Seraph SI-2 Sidearm comes with Threat Detector and Surrounded, making for a great PVE weapon for this season. The downside is that this version does not come with a Masterwork, making it less desirable. If Bungie fixes the Masterwork bug before the next weekly reset, this is a Destiny 2 weapon Guardians will want to pick up. Banshee’s fourth offering of the week, The Vision, is a 3-round burst fire Sidearm that rolls with Ambitious Assassin and Kill Clip. While Kill Clip is a top-tier perk, Guardians may prefer something other than Ambitious Assassin like maybe Killing Wind or Opening Shot.

The Berenger’s Memory Grenade Launcher is a Power weapon in Destiny 2 and rolls with Quickdraw and Rampage this week. This is not a bad roll; however, Clown Cartridge or Field Prep may be a better perk for the first slot for an increase to sustained DPS in PVE activities. This weapon is also afflicted with the Masterwork bug and is currently not providing a Masterwork so Guardians should pass on this. Banshee-44’s last offering of the week is another Power Grenade Launcher, Outrageous Fortune. This Power weapon rolls with Threat Detector and Rampage, but it does not come with Spike Grenades that increase damage on hit so Guardians will pass this up for better options in the slot.

This week is all about the Rampage perk for Banshee-44. If he can iron out his Masterwork issues, some of Banshee's Destiny 2 weapon offerings may be more desirable such as the Seventh Seraph SI-2 Sidearm, capable of making Warmind Cells; however, without a Masterwork, it cannot make Orbs of Power, limiting its use.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
