Treyarch reveals file sizes for the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Now that it's May, Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will be receiving a mid-season update to Season 3. Like the previous Season 2 Reloaded update, the Call of Duty Season 3 Reloaded update will be mixing things up for players.

As part of the Season 3 Reloaded update, Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will be receiving plenty of new content. This includes new weapons to use, locations for matches, and even new content for Zombies. An announcement for the update also revealed the file sizes for Season 3 Reloaded on both games.

The file size for the upcoming Warzone update on PS4 and PS5 is 14.6 GB, and it's 15.2 GB for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. For PC, it's 14.8 GB for Call of Duty: Warzone by itself and 18.1 GB for both Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The Season 3 Reloaded update announcement also revealed file sizes for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. For the PS5 it's 10.3 GB, and for the PS4 it's 7.1 GB. The file size for the Xbox One is 8.3 GB and for the Xbox Series X/S it's 13.1 GB. The PC version only requires 10.3 GB, and Treyarch's post notes that players don't need the download for Call of Duty: Warzone if they're only playing Black Ops Cold War and vice versa. Players can uninstall other data packs they don't need for a smaller file size.

Of course, the games are receiving a lot of new content for the increased file sizes in Season 3 Reloaded. Call of Duty: Mobile, Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War will be receiving the ’80s Action Heroes Event with limited-time bundles and a "blockbuster sense of action" for the games. Players will have the chance to play Bruce Willis' John McClane from the Die Hard films and Sylvester Stallone's Rambo from Rambo: First Blood Part 2.

The ’80s Action Heroes Event goes live tomorrow, May 19 from 9:00 p.m. PT to June 18 at 9:00 p.m. PT in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. The event will also come with new content for Warzone, including new points of interest in Verdansk such as the Nakatomi Plaza building from Die Hard, and various camps will be converted into Survival Camps from Rambo: First Blood Part 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone will also come with a new limited-time game mode called Power Grab. This game mode will pit 100 Operators against one another in select squad sizes, has a circle collapse with five stages, and there's no Gulag. Players must either revive fallen squadmates at the Buy Station or earn the right to do so by collecting their Dog Tags. Overall, Season 3 Reloaded will be bringing Call of Duty players plenty of new content for May.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
