Based on a quarterly presentation, Take-Two Interactive releases its plans on developing over the next three years through its many franchises.

Take-Two Interactive has found great success after becoming a parent company for some of the most successful PC, console, and mobile game companies, its list of companies including Rockstar Games, 2K Games, Private Division, Dots, and Socialpoint.

However, one of the criticisms many fans have of the company is the lack of a consistent release schedule, hence many fans desiring for the eventual release of Grand Theft Auto 6. Luckily, as released from a recent fiscal quarter presentation, the company has plans to drastically increase productivity for the foreseeable future.

Within the next three years, Take-Two Interactive plans to make around 62 games in total by the end of the 2024 fiscal year. With that breakdown consisting of 21 titles in 2022 and 41 titles within 2023 to 2024. These titles will consist of its companies' new and existing franchises. However, there isn't any clear indication of what specific series it has in mind yet, but two of the titles for 2022 should comprise from existing franchises.

In the presentation, Take-Two Interactive states that it will be using its world-class creative and marketing teams to use its extensive portfolio of intellectual properties to expand its development capacity. To make sure the company could handle this unprecedented workload, it has already planned ahead and hired over 1,500 developers over the past two years. Today, Take-Two Interactive now has the highest amount of workers in its history by employing about 5,046 people in total, all with the with the intent of reaching this lofty goal.

Some other business decisions announced in the presentation are that Take-Two Interactive will now be implementing new business models such as subscriptions, free-to-play games, and standalone online titles. Not only that, but the company has decided to also expand its already expansive market to new territories with both the streaming/cloud gaming and direct-to-consumer markets. Additionally, outside the games themselves, Take-Two Interactive has intentions to break into the esports industry and its community. The company feels as if there are emerging opportunities within these underpenetrated markets, especially within China.

Take-Two Interactive ends the presentation by acknowledging that not only does it want to become a better company for gamers, but a better company for society, listing its contributions to charitable organizations. Hopefully, this news can put fans at ease that there is a stronger chance that their favorite series could be seeing a new installment in the near future. It is quite a challenging goal to reach, but with the number of new companies and developers under its belt, Take-Two Interactive has a strong chance of meeting its deadline.
