Halo Infinite is easily one of the most highly anticipated games releasing this year. After being teased for so long and finally being given a look at gameplay last year, a lot of fans of the series could not be more excited for the release of Halo Infinite. Although, a lot of new content for the game has recently been revealed, including screenshots of some familiar weapons.
Earlier yesterday, new details regarding Halo Infinite were leaked, but now it seems that all of those details were released to the public via Halo Waypoint. The amount of content discussed and revealed during the blog post was quite extensive to say the least, but a couple additions should have a lot of fans turning their heads, especially in terms of how classic weapons will look.

During the gameplay showcase that occurred last year, a lot of new weapons were revealed for Halo Infinite that left a lot of fans curious for what else was in store. It was clear via combat that a lot of the same Covenant weapons would making a return, such as the plasma pistol and rifle. However, arguably one of the most iconic weapons in Halo, the Needler, will be making a return and it is stunning to see how it looks in the Halo Infinite engine.
It is amazing to see such a memorable weapon stylized to this degree. The needles themselves look incredibly detailed and the polish on the gun itself is equally as detailed. There are even parts of the gun that are worn down to emulate its use in battle. Of the many powerful weapons that have surfaced in Halo's lore, the needler certainly has its place and its memorable design has been perfectly emulated in Halo Infinite.
In addition to the Needler, a screenshot of the classic MA40 assault rifle was posted on Halo Waypoint, and it looks extremely impressive as well. This weapon was shown off during the gameplay showcase for Halo Infinite and it is still as classic and reliable as ever. Much like the Needler, it's refreshing to see such a classic design updated for the modern age.
In any case, if this blog post is any indication, then quite a lot of exciting things are in store for Halo Infinite. With 343 Industries promising to release monthly Halo Infinite updates, this will hopefully give fans a much better idea of what to expect once the final product is released.
Halo Infinite will release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in fall 2021.
