Throughout the region of Mondstadt, there are numerous locations for Genshin Impact players to experience and explore. In their travels, throughout the various regions, Genshin Impact players are guaranteed to encounter various book series' scattered throughout Mondstadt, which can be collected.
One of the series that players can attempt to collect in Mondstadt is "The Drunkards Tale," which consists of four volumes. Unfortunately, the book series is not an autobiography of Venti but is instead a short story about a drunkard who stumbled into wolven territory.

Volumes 1 and 3 of the series can be found inside Dawn Winery located in the south of Mondstadt. Fast travel to the Statue of the Seven waypoint north of the winery and proceed towards the building.
Once players have reached the winery, enter the building and immediately turn left. Players will find volume three of the series on a bookshelf in the corner of the room. For reference, the player icon should be facing northeast on the compass.
After collecting the book, turn around, and walk towards Elzer the Wine Guild Chairman. Players will find volume 1 of the series on the table filled with stacks of books left of the chairman.
The remaining volumes of the series can be found by fast traveling to the city of Mondstadt. From either waypoint in the city, players must make their way towards the Knights of Favonious Headquarters. This location can be identified by the Sword and Shield icon on the map of the city.
Once inside of the headquarters, players must enter the first door on the right, which will lead them inside Lisa's library. Immediately upon entering, head to the first set of windows on the righthand side. Players will find the second volume of the series on the bookshelf to the left of the windows.
To find the final book in the series, proceed down the staircase and head towards the bookcases on the lefthand side. Players will notice a portrait of a large mountain on the wall next to a vase on a wooden pillar. The book can be found to the right of the aforementioned items. For reference, the player should be facing West on the compass when pointed towards the bookshelf.
After collecting the final book, players will unlock "The Drunkard and the Wolf" achievement and will be one step closer to their completion of the Mortal Travails series. Like each of the other book series, players will also receive 5 primogems for completing the set.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
