One of the two Trials of Morrigan found in the Meath region is located in a relatively central spot, therefore players will likely stumble across this one fairly organically while exploring this region. Just be sure to start the trial with full health and with as many healing rations as possible, as the hostile druids that spawn will not hold back.

Starting from Kells Abbot in the central north part of Meath, head in a straight line due south and one will find a spooky swamp where a section is ringed by wooden poles, animal skulls, and the usual identifiers of druid activity.

This Trial of Morrigan, like all of them, possesses a unique group of the new occult enemies found in the Wrath of the Druids DLC. The one in Inchroe's swamp-based terrain appropriately contains foes who will try to poison the player, therefore having a strategy to counteract or nullify this will be immensely helpful here.

Immediately after beginning the trial, the area will be covered in a sickly green fog that will make identifying how many enemies are approaching impossible, however, most of the foes are not as aggressive as one would expect, given their advantage of numbers and visibility.

There are three kinds of enemies in this bout: sickle-wielding druids with light shields, shamanic ones who try to poison the player, and a literal bear. Each takes a different method to defeat, though there is an order that players should focus on when clearing them out for the most efficient way to beat this Trial of Morrigan.

These are the most aggressive and they will constantly rush at Eivor, therefore these should be the ones that the player should take down first. They will pester the player endlessly until they are all defeated, which would make fighting the shamans and the bear harder than necessary. To fell these shield-hugging foes, use heavy attacks to break their guard and potentially stun them when they go on the defensive, though be sure to avoid their slashing sickle strikes while they are on the offensive.

While the sickle-wielders rush ahead, these toxic combatants will hang back and try to poison Eivor when they roll or walk too close. Their main goal is to afflict the player while a status ailment to make fighting the others harder, however, these shamans pose little threat on their own besides their poison. Just stay away from them until the sickle-wielders are dealt with. When actually confronted face-to-face, these poison shamans are very weak and can be dealt with swiftly.

Thankfully, the bear in this bout seems to be permanently confused. It's unclear if this was due to them gaining low aggression due to being part of a Trial of Morrigan (like the poison shamans) or if this large mammal is simply bugged out. This results in the ursine foe simply hanging out in the fog and not even counterattacking when they are struck. They are the least dangerous part of the trial and should be saved for last.
