One Apex Legends player finds a way to get around an issue that has been plaguing the community since the battle royale title first launched.

An Apex Legends player recently found a unique way to deal with an issue that the community has been trying to solve since the game first launched. Weapon recoil is something that pops in all games like Apex Legends from time to time, and users are always trying to find a way around it. One content creator believes he's found a workaround without needing a hack or exploits.

Since the game launched two years ago, users have tried out different ways to get better accuracy in Apex Legends. Sometimes they manage to find it through a bug while others are just patient enough to learn the recoil patterns so they can work around it. Others have found tricks like crouching then standing repeatedly in order to reduce the motion that can affect whether or not someone hits the match-winning shot. Now one more trick has been discovered, though it does appear to take a bit of practice and some quick reactions.

The new trick comes from Apex Legends content creator Torje who recently posted a video demonstrating the new process. The method comes down to being able to vibrate the player's hand so quickly that the firing recoil doesn't end up affecting the Legend's aim. The vibration also allows players to get off a large number of shots in a short period of time.

Torje calls the procedure the "Oscillation Method" and calls for the player to vibrate their wrist at about ten times the speed of an Apex Legends weapon's firing rate. One example is the Flatline gun that shoots at 600 RPM, meaning players have to vibrate their wrists at ten times a second or more to fully control it.

Because of how fast players have to be able to manipulate their wrists, this is a method that is only going to be able to be used on the PC. The player has to "jitter click" the mouse while moving it in a small circle and the reward is that pretty much every weapon is able to shoot in a straight line. In the video he posted, Torje demonstrates this by using the technique in order to hit the farthest target away on the firing range.

The content creator did point out the method has its drawbacks, including the fact that users are forcing their arm and wrist to vibrate in a way that can be hard on both. There is of course also the fact that this isn't the kind of thing that's going to be usable on the console or upcoming mobile version of Apex Legends, giving PC players an edge in crossplay matches.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
