The fourth dungeon available to Genshin Impact players in the Misty Dungeon Event is the Ranged Trial. Of all the trials currently available, this is arguably the most challenging and will require Genshin Impact players to consider a variety of factors when attempting to complete the dungeon's 5 challenges.
Of the 5 challenges available for players to complete in the dungeon, there are two challenges that are unique to the Ranged Trial. These challenges include; 1) defeating 8 enemies without letting them get within a specified range, and 2) completing the challenge without taking damage more than 40 times. While the range that enemies are required to be in is never explicitly specified, it appears ranged kills will not count if the enemy is directly next to the player.

As expected, the Ley Line disorder of the trial is ranged-focused granting players a 50% reduction in stamina, 75% increase in damage, and 20% increase in speed when there are no opponents around the active character. As a result, players will need to prioritize as many ranged bow and magic users to take advantage of these buffs.
Of the characters available for players to select, the ideal setup for the trial would include; Keqing, Amber, Mona, and Diona. In this setup, while the ranged party members will do the majority of the damage, Keqing is primarily included for her elemental burst and chain reactions.
Because players are attempting to avoid taking as much damage as possible during the trial, both Mona and Amber's elemental skills play a significant role in keeping enemies at bay. When utilized, enemies will be drawn to either Mona's Reflection of Doom or Amber's Explosive puppet, allowing the player to attack the mobs safely at range. With this strategy, players should have no difficulty completing the challenge for defeating 8 enemies from a ranged distance.
Players should also make use of Diona's elemental skill in conjunction with Monas', as it will allow players to effectively freeze the mobs within each challenge room. Diona's skill also serves a dual purpose as it temporarily shields the party when cast, which can prevent any unnecessary damage taken when at close range.
In terms of benediction challenges, it is recommended that players opt for the red Plunder challenge which increases the party's attack power. In addition, the blue Godspeed challenge will greatly increase the player's movement on top of the buff being received from the Ley Line disorder. This movement speed boost is especially useful when players face the Ruin Grader in the final challenge, which will require them to routinely sprint and dodge across the arena in order to avoid the boss's missiles and lasers.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
