A newly released corporate document from Sony lists Uncharted 4: A Thief's End under a list of upcoming PlayStation games being ported to PC.

With summer gaming events like E3 2021 and the Summer Game Fest approaching, many gamers are expecting some major forthcoming announcements. PlayStation is getting things started early with a Horizon Forbidden West State of Play event starting tomorrow, May 27. However, that's apparently not all PlayStation is ready to reveal, as in a newly released document, PlayStation shows that Uncharted 4 is one of the games currently being planned for release on PC.

This reveal doesn't appear to have been done in a planned way. It comes as part of a document released for Sony's IR Day 2021, an investor relations event that included a segment on Games and Network Services. A page within this document titled "New Growth Vectors: PlayStation Studios" has a section on PC releases. Listed under the subheading "More PC releases planned" are two logos, one for the recently released Days Gone and another for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

No further details about the project are listed in the document, or elsewhere for that matter. Uncharted 4 is not currently officially announced for PC in any capacity, so its inclusion in this document is likely an accidental early confirmation by Sony. Given this is a corporate document with a variety of data, its veracity is reliable, but there's always a possibility it was a mistake or made before plans changed. After all, Days Gone isn't "Coming Soon" to PC, it has already launched.

Uncharted 4 was originally released on PS4 in May 2016. Neither it nor any of the other Uncharted games have ports released or announced for PC, and there is no Uncharted on PS5. That said, it's not unbelievable that PlayStation would want to bring the franchise to PC eventually. With the release of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC in mid-2020 and the recent release of Days Gone on PC, anything is possible.

One possibility is that PlayStation is planning to announce Uncharted 4's release on PC as one of its upcoming summer game announcements. PlayStation hasn't revealed its summer plans yet, outside of confirming PlayStation is involved in Summer Game Fest, so there's no schedule available for when the announcement could be made.

Surprisingly, an Uncharted 4 PC port is something that hasn't been leaked or speculated on. God of War is often talked about, as is Bloodborne and Ghost of Tsushima. Even the Uncharted Collection, which combines the first three Uncharted games, has previously been hinted as coming to PC. Perhaps all of these games will eventually be released on PC, but for now fans will have to wait and see.

Uncharted 4 is available now on PS4.
