Call of Duty: Warzone fans get another reason to hate the game’s cargo trucks, as the vehicles are now killing players without even moving.

One of the most prevalent complaints about Call of Duty: Warzone in recent weeks has been tied to the game’s cargo trucks. However, the hatred for the vehicles is now getting even worse, as Call of Duty: Warzone fans are randomly being killed by the trucks.

Before the trucks even started killing gamers without moving, many were calling for them to be removed from Call of Duty: Warzone — particularly in solo play. In recent weeks, a meta has formed where players get a cargo truck and wait until the final circle. From there, they drive around inside of it, avoiding any gunfights and holding out hope that their vehicle’s durability gives them the win. Completely ruining the flow of the game and the all-important final fight, players are understandably outraged about the trucks.

Dr Disrespect pushed for the trucks’ removal in late April, and with the Two Time serving as a mouthpiece for the community, plenty of uproar has been caused about the trucks. However, it seems like the vehicles are not done messing with Call of Duty: Warzone players, as Redditor deyrajib shows in their clip. With seemingly no explanation, the cargo trucks are instantly killing players. They even ignore self-revives when they do, meaning that gamers have no hope of coming back after the unfair death.

As shown in deyrajib’s clip, the death occurs in the cargo bed of the truck. The Call of Duty: Warzone player hops into the back of the vehicle in hopes that they can get a solo win, though things quickly go wrong. As another player drives by in one of these trucks, showing just how prevalent the vehicle is, deyrajib suddenly falls over. For some reason, their match was ended, and the player is utterly confused as to how or why they were killed.

With the only constant being that Call of Duty: Warzone’s cargo trucks were seen, it seems likely that they were the cause of the death. While it is unclear if the glitch is tied to the enemy driving by or deyrajib’s own truck, a comment suggests that the latter is likely. Per Redditor illram, their truck randomly exploded last night. However, the player explains that they were not shot, with the explosion instead happening as soon as the player dropped into Verdansk. Clearly, the trucks are not working as intended, with many hoping this will lead to their removal.

While it remains to be seen if gamers will get their wish, there is now another reason to want the cargo trucks gone. With a cryptic Call of Duty: Warzone teaser possibly hinting at the trucks’ removal, though, there is a good reason for fans to have hope about the truck meta coming to an end.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
