There are a lot of wung-fu techniques to choose that work for ranged combat. Here's some of the absolute best, ranked.

There are a couple of ways for the players to approach the combat system of BiomutantLike most RPG titles, the player can create a powerful hack-and-slash melee character, they can make the gameplay more interesting by crafting a mage build, or they can treat this game like a shooter title and use the various guns of the game instead.

Aside from the wide array of powerful guns the player can wield in this game, there are also Wung-Fu abilities tied to ranged combat the player may not know they can use to be even more powerful. These abilities make the game's ranged combat so much more diverse and entertaining. These are the Wung-Fu abilities ranged-build players should unlock and use in combat.

10 Praying Mantis

The Praying Mantis is a Wung-Fu ability for basic gun wielders. Since mobility is a must of ranged builds, the Praying Mantis ability is useful as it will have the player rapidly fire a burst of shots after double jumping.

Guns aren't the most powerful ranged weapons in the game, but they're reliable, especially early on. This Wung-Fu ability will make wielding guns a tad more effective in combat. This ability costs 2 Upgrade Points to unlock.

9 Komodo Stretch

The Myriad Tribe Boomerang is the tribe weapon of the Myriad tribe. It may not be the most powerful ranged weapon in the game, but it can be fun to use in certain situations.

Those who enjoy using this weapon should make use of its Komodo Stretch Wung-Fu ability since it already comes with the weapon. This Wung-Fu ability will have the player launch themselves towards the location of the boomerang at the end of the attack chain.

8 Two-Faced Cobra Grip

The Two-Faced Cobra Grip is an absolute must if the player wants to dual wield guns. The player can unlock this ability for just 1 Upgrade Point. This ability makes wielding guns so much more gratifying. More guns mean more damage output.

It should be noted that this ability allows the players two wield two one-handed guns only. This doesn't work on two-handed ranged weapons such as automatic rifles.

7 Ethereal Horse

The Ethereal Horse Wung-Fu ability takes both of the player's guns and chucks them at the enemies. Not only is this humorously satisfying but the damage it deals is also nothing to scoff at.

Once prompted, this attack queues up immediately at the end of the attack chain. This Wung-Fu ability can only be used with two-handed guns. It can be unlocked for just 1 Upgrade Point. Since this ability is for two-handed guns, the player needs to unlock the Two-Faced Cobra Grip Wung-Fu first before they can access this ability.

6 Cursed Beaver

The Cursed Beaver Wung-Fu ability is for Rifle users. There is a myriad of Rifles the players can loot, purchase, and craft in Biomutant. These are easy and balanced ranged weapons in the game considering the allocation fire rate, accuracy, range, and damage.

This Wung-Fu ability will have the player finish their ranged weapon attack chain with two highly powerful shots. This makes the rifles so much more powerful than they already are. The player can unlock this ability with just 1 Upgrade Point.

5 Unstoppable Duck

The Unstoppable Duck is the final Wung-Fu ability for the Rifle weapon. For 2 Upgrade points, the player can fire a rapid burst of shots at enemies after double jumping.

This ensures the player is still able to fire at will while jumping away or towards enemies, which is one of the best ways of ensuring survival in Biomutant. The game itself may not be the most difficult, but it will absolutely punish those who just stay still

4 Boom Dove

Using Automatic Rifles is a very safe option for those who want to fully embrace the game's ranged combat. They're easy to use, their fire rate is immense, and a lot of Automatic Rifles have decent damage. The Boom Dove is one of the weapon's Wung-Fu abilities and you can unlock this for just 1 Upgrade Point.

With Boom Dove, the end of the player's attack chain will be followed with a full automatic shooting slide. This takes away a good chunk of the enemy's health and it allows the player to be mobile.

3 Maniac Mule

The Maniac Mule is the last Wung-Fu ability for the Automatic Rifle weapon. This can be unlocked for 2 Upgrade Points. This makes the player's double jump traversal become an offensive maneuver.

Once unlocked, the player will spray bullets as they're double jumping. This will also have them flip vertically through the air. It's a cool-looking movement and it incentivizes it by adding an offensive aspect.

2 Deadly Owl

Shotguns are by far the game's most powerful ranged weapons. However, their main caveat is that they can either have a low fire rate or an awful reload speed. Regardless of these things, once the player gets used to the intricacies of the weapon, it can be very rewarding.

On top of its sheer power, the Wung-Fu ability of Shotguns is also very decent. The Deadly Owl Wung-Fu ability in particular will make this weapon's attack chain so much more powerful. At the end of the chain, this ability will expel two highly precise shotgun blasts towards the enemy.

1 Angry Panda

The Angry Panda Wung-Fu ability is the last unlockable Wung-Fu ability for the Shotgun weapon. Once activated, this ability will make the player perform a backflip after doing a double jump. Once they land, they will also deliver a powerful shotgun blast towards the target.

This powerful Wung-Fu ability can be unlocked for 2 Upgrade Points. Considering how powerful shotguns in this game can be, the addition of another devastating blast after a double flip will really take its toll on the enemies.
