Colorful reveals its 3080Ti graphics card, which should pack a powerful punch for anyone that manages to get their hands on one.

It's been a rough few months for anyone trying to get their hands on new gaming hardware, regardless of which platform gamers are looking to play on. With global supply lines slowing down due to the coronavirus pandemic, computer chip shortages highlighting the problem, and scalpers gobbling up the supply, finding new hardware is tough. Luckily, Colorful has revealed its 3080Ti, adding another option to the list for gamers to try and get their hands on.

Dubbed the COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 3080Ti, the card packs a powerful punch. Powered by Nvidia's Ampere technology, the card will support the ray tracing features found in newer titles, like Metro Exodus Enhanced Editionwhich is becoming a baseline feature in a lot of triple-a games. The store page doesn't seem to be live on Colorful's website yet, though, for those looking to upgrade immediately.

The iGame GeForce RTX 3080Ti does pack some interesting features outside of just being a beefy graphics card, too. Plus, the company also announced its new line of 307oTi cards alongside the new 3080Ti units. The cards have been created with a sharper design and improved cooling in mind, boasting aesthetic upgrades like customizable RGB lights.

Additionally, the 3080Ti and 3070 Ti cards will feature One-Key Overclock and a specialized LCD screen that displays GPU temperature, core clocks, and more. Colorful also touted content creator-specific features, specifically regarding Nvidia Broadcast, that it says will allow creators to "speed through" popular content creation applications. So far, 30-series cards have been all-around impressive where specs are concerned, and it seems that Colorful's Ti options are no different.

Of course, availability will likely still be a concern for countless gamers looking to upgrade, and unfortunately, it's impossible to predict just how much havoc scalpers will be able to inflict on the supply by using bots. If it's anything like what's been happening with graphics card scalping recently, hopeful buyers may want to gear up to be disappointed, as buying new video game hardware has become something of a lottery.

Difficulty acquiring a card aside, though, Colorful's range of new hardware is a powerful solution for those that are able to get their hands on one. The 30-series graphics cards, especially Ti models, will be more than capable of handling the latest games for years to come, a large part of what makes them so desirable. Luckily, it should become easier to buy them as global conditions improve.
