For World of Warcraft Classic TBC fans looking for assistance in picking the right faction, here is a list of who benefits from each choice.

All the day one WoW fans now have a way of reliving their nostalgia with World of Warcraft Classic. The new classic game takes fans back to its roots in the greatest years of World of Warcraft with some new extra content as well.

There are many important decisions that World of Warcraft Classic players will make throughout the game, but many are incomparable as to the decision to join either Aldor or Scryer in their conflict. Upon reaching a level in the high 60s, gamers will have to finally make a choice the next time they reach Shattrath City.

This decision is important for a variety of different reasons including quest lines in World of Warcraft Classic, BoP rewards, and shoulder enchants for professions. So for fans looking for guidance on picking the right faction, here is a list of some of the benefits of each side.

For most classes, the Aldor side is going to prove most beneficial. The Aldor class will also be better for players looking to gain the rewards from the Deathblow to the Legion quest, as it is only available to them. Specifically, the types of builds that should join this side for PvE are;

  • A Druid class that uses Feral DPS, Feral Tank, and Restoration.
  • A Hunter class that uses Beast Mastery and Marksmanship.
  • A Paladin class that uses Holy, Protection, and Retribution.
  • A Priest class that uses Holy and Shadow.
  • A Rogue Cass that uses Assassination, Combat, and Subtlety.
  • A Shaman class that uses Enchantment and Restoration.
  • A Warrior class that uses Arms, Fury, and Protection.

The Scryer is hugely preferred by Warlock players in World of Warcraft for its PvE advantages. Additionally, gamers who also need to reap the benefits from the "Turning Point" quest should also strongly consider joining this side. Some other types of builds that would strongly benefit are;

  • A balanced Druid class.
  • A Hunter class that specializes in survival.
  • A Mage class that uses Arcane, Fire, and Frost.
  • A Shaman class that uses Elemental magic.
  • A Warlock class that uses Affliction, Demonology, and Destruction

Luckily, if fans happen to make the mistake of choosing the wrong faction there is a way of switching sides. However, this could prove daunting for gamers whose character is hated by the other faction. If players want to leave Scryer, find the NPC named Sha'nir that offers the "Strained Supplies" quest and repeat it until the player's affinity with Aldor is neutral. And for gamers who want to leave Aldor, find the NPC named Arcanist Adyria who gives the "Voren'thal's Visions" quest and also repeat this until Scryer affinity is neutral.
