The Season of Legends has come to a close and it's now time for the Season of Discovery to reign over Pokemon GO for the next three months. The seasonal rotation brings a new batch of wild spawns and battle raid bosses for a three month period, but it also signals a thematic shift in the sort of events that will be coming to the mobile AR game during that window. To help kick off the new season, PoGO players can start getting ready to dive into next week's Very Slow Discovery event.
The Very Slow Discovery event doesn't officially start until June 8, but it's never too early to start preparing. The event is nearly a weeklong and offers some pretty exciting features and bonuses for trainers to take advantage of while they track down Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon GO for the very first time.

During the event window players will be able to take advantage of spotting Galarian Slowpokes in the wild and the debut of Mega Slowbro in the raiding scene. That's just the tip of the iceberg though. The event includes a handful of other increased spawns and limited time meta relevant Battle Raid bosses that are sure to make this a pretty popular festivity.
