MLB The Show 21, the newest iteration of the annual licensed baseball game franchise, is set to be revealed within the next month. Details including MLB The Show 21's platforms, a release date, and more are expected. But, much to Sony's frustration, it seems like some announcement details have been leaked. The latest example is the MLB The Show 21 Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition, made in partnership with the Jackie Robinson Foundation non-profit for both PlayStation and Xbox.
A promo image of the MLB The Show 21 Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition was first seen on the Xbox One subreddit. There's both a digital version of the special edition and a physical. The physical edition looks like it could include a Steelbook case as well as an MLB The Show hat. Both editions look to include an Early Access weekend on April 16, as well as four days of early access to the full game when it eventually releases. Some revenue is said to go directly to the Jackie Robinson Foundation's Scholars Program, which provides scholarships and guidance to minority students pursuing higher education.

Perhaps the bigger news is that the MLB The Show 21 Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition is advertised as coming not just to PS4, but to PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A separate leak on Saturday also showed that MLB The Show 21 would be coming to Xbox One, but the support of next-gen consoles appears to be a new revelation.
Baseball fans should maintain at least some level of skepticism, of course. Neither yesterday's MLB The Show 21 box art leak nor today's Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition has been officially confirmed. They're absolutely persuasive but could also have been faked. Sony's planning a February official announcement for MLB The Show 21, so fans won't have to wait long for a confirmation.
MLB The Show 21 is in development now.
