Outside of being able to fly planes, part of the allure of Microsoft Flight Simulator is its ability to allow players to see the world. Unfortunately, much of the world in the game is somewhat unpolished, but Microsoft is aiming to fix that with a series of updates. It's third update will be an overhaul to the UK, and it was initially supposed to have already released, but has been delayed to February. Despite this, Microsoft has already shared what's next, a look at the regions of France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is methodically making its way around the world and updating its imagery with photogrammetry, a technique that should help to create more realistic and accurate spaces within the game. It's employed updates like this for the regions of Japan and the United States, and now fans can look forward to these other European countries.

The France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg update is due sometime in March, meaning players won't have to wait long between updates. Since the Japan update initially released in September and the US update didn't release for another two months after that, many were expecting the fourth update to be delayed alongside the UK one. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to have been the case.
Little has been shown of the France update coming in March, but the video above does give a new sneak peak at the UK update due for February. Watching the entire thing, the developers also talk about their plans for the future of Microsoft Flight Simulator, so interested fans should check it out.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is available for PC and Xbox Series X.
