Ubisoft has implemented many extra details into Assassin's Creed Valhalla that should keep the players engaged beyond the main story. One of these is the inclusion of mythical beasts in Assassin's Creed Valhalla found scattered through the game world.
These legendary beasts, such as the Blood Swine in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, are tough mini-bosses with somewhat unpredictable attack patterns compared to the rest of the game's enemies. In the "Binding Fate" quest, gamers are tasked to defeat the wolf Fenrir.

Fenrir is a large talking wolf that moves faster than one would think, making this Assassin's Creed Valhalla boss fight extra difficult. For players looking for strategies to defeat Fenrir, here are some tips on how to approach the fight.
Firstly, to start the quest, travel to Heimdall's Tower in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Players will then be tasked to travel to Lyngvi Island to speak to Tyr. Once there, Fenrir should appear for the gamer to face.
While fighting Fenrir, it is important to stay to his sides to avoid his lunging move. Focus all melee attacks on his legs and make sure to effectively use all the arrows lying around the battlefield for Eivor's bow in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Using the "Focus of Nornir" ability will also help slow down time and attack with a couple more arrows before Fenrir can dodge.
Another somewhat difficult aspect of this fight is that Fenrir will occasionally dig underground and attack. There will be a cloud of dirt that rises above ground where Fenrir is digging as he circles around the player. Anticipate when he will get close and make sure to dodge out of the way, as if Eivor gets caught in Fenrir's mouth, he will take a large amount of damage.
Every time players take off a third of Fenrir's health, they will be required to bind him. Follow the command over Fenrir, and Eivor will tie a golden rope over his torso area. After the first bind is completed, Fenrir will have new moves to use against Eivor.
Fenrir will now sometimes grab one of the large trees in the background and use it as a club to hit Eivor. Fenrir will also throw it from a flanking angle to attack the player. Simply stay to the side and continue to attack the legs and dodge forward when the tree is thrown. Another one of Fenrir's new attacks is he will run in a circle and create a tornado. Make sure to keep a good distance between Fenrir when he jumps back, and keep the fight in the center of the field so there is plenty of room to run away.
Lastly, Fenrir will jump to the corner to throw large rocks at Eivor. Remember to keep running to the side to avoid the rocks and be careful when Fenrir lunges at the end after he howls. Hopefully, this guide helps Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans defeat Fenrir once and for all.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
