Nintendo releases a video called "The Download" showcasing some of the games that have been made available throughout the month of January on the Nintendo Switch. January 2021 had some pretty impressive games, old and new, on Nintendo's hybrid console.
The video is filled with games big and small. The biggest AAA title on the list is perhaps Hitman 3's cloud version on the Switch, which allows Nintendo fans to enjoy a highly technical game that would simply not be possible otherwise.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game on Switch found huge success, and the beat 'em up is another big name in "The Download" video. Before these more high-profile games, the small and quirky puzzler Down in Bermuda by Yak & Co is the first to appear in the video. Unstoppable is another small indie game in January 2021's "The Download."
A game that received some fanfare leading up to the launch with multiple dev diaries was Sword of the Necromancer. The game just made the cut this month, as it launched on January 28. The rhythm game Tadpole Treble Encore is also in the video, as is the puzzle adventure game TOHU.
A few more titles that may be more known in January's "The Download" include Devolver Digital's Olija, an action-adventure title. However, perhaps the game that has picked up the most steam recently is the well-received Cyber Shadow. January can often be a dull month for gaming releases, but Nintendo certainly seems to be doing its best to provide a wide range of quality games for Nintendo Switch owners.
