Call of Duty: Warzone players may be enjoying a new meta where several weapons are viable, though one SMG still ranks near the top. For Call of Duty: Warzone players that only want to use the best of the best, kitting out the Mac-10 would be a wise idea.
When Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s new batch of weapons first came to Call of Duty: Warzone, it did not take long for players to weed out the worst weapon choices and determine the best guns available. As such, it was quickly determined that the Mac-10 Submachine Gun and the DMR 14 tactical rifle were Season 1's best guns — with the former being incredibly strong and the latter being completely broken. While the DMR has since been nerfed, the Mac-10 has not seen significant enough changes to warrant lower pick rates.

With the Mac-10 being one of the best guns in Call of Duty: Warzone’s current meta, it is unsurprising that several loadouts have been released for the weapon. While Call of Duty pro Aydan offered players a solid setup for the weapon, it did not take long for Call of Duty: Warzone loadout expert NICKMERCS to deliver a setup of his own. Doubling down on the weapon’s speed, NICKMERCS’ loadout proved as popular as many of his other setups, though the FaZe member has since refined the setup.
Improving on his previous Mac-10 loadout, the new build gives the gun a bit of extra damage while retaining its excellent speed and handling. The Agency Suppressor makes an unsurprising appearance in the muzzle slot, adding range and stealth capabilities, while the 5.9” Task Force Barrel improves on damage due to increased bullet velocity. NICKMERCS switches back to the 53 Rnd Drum used in his original loadout, sacrificing reload speed in favor of quicker ADS time.
The Raider Stock and Patrol Grip round out the list of attachments, with the former boosting aim walk movement speed and the latter letting players sprint faster — a major advantage for skilled Call of Duty: Warzone fans. While Dr Disrespect despises the Mac-10, it does not seem like the weapon is leaving the rotation anytime soon. With NICKMERCS dealing over 7,000 damage with the gun and racking up 19 kills “while eating” and hardly focusing on the game, it is easy to understand the weapon’s popularity.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 5.9” Task Force
- Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum

For players that prefer fighting from a distance, though, there are plenty of options available. Call of Duty: Warzone’s CR-56 AMAX has been dominant as of late, while the Bruen MK9 has been making a noticeable comeback — giving Call of Duty: Warzone players a few options to choose from before dropping into battle.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
