Cris Tales is set to offer a unique spin on the standard RPG formula, and now eager fans can view the new trailer diving deeper into its mechanics.

Those that have been following Cris Tales closely have a lot to be excited about, and a new overview trailer just revealed even more. Though much of the game's story and core mechanics still remain shrouded in mystery, this new trailer does show off a ton of locations, characters, and a general explanation of the plot. Crisbell is the main character, blessed with the ability to see into the past, present, and future simultaneously. She can use this technique to put her foes in compromising positions, inform her decisions, and more.

Cris Tales is set to release in July of 2021, so players only have a few more months to wait. Once it finally does come, they'll get to explore its unique world and see how the choices they make in the present affect the future. While they're at it, players can use the past to help make the best decisions.

From what short snippets of gameplay this overview trailer showed, fans of Cris Tales seem to be thrilled. Above all else, the art direction is being praised almost unanimously, with fans drawn in by the game's unique style and implementation. Hardcore strategists, on the other hand, are interested in all the ways they can use time magic to manipulate the battlefield.

If the trailer above seems interesting, it is definitely worth checking out the game's free demo that is available now. In this, players can work through a short section of the story and then continue to play around with the combat system in the colosseum. All great ways to prepare for Cris Tales' inevitable release this July.

Cris Tales releases July 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
