Sony has officially revealed some early details on MLB: The Show 21.

MLB: The Show 21, this year’s release in Sony’s baseball series, is out April 20 worldwide. As previously revealed, the game will be available across both PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

MLB: The Show 21 is coming to two console generations, too, as it’s being released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Not only that, all five consoles will be able to play together in cross-play. Cross-progression is also supported, though just like with Call of Duty and all other games that support cross-progression, this won’t extend to the Stubs virtual currency.

The standard edition will run you $60 on PS4 and Xbox One, and $70 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Sony also revealed Fernando Tatis Jr. as the cover athlete for MLB: The Show 21.

More gameplay details will be revealed leading up to the launch. This year, Sony San Diego will be hosting six Feature Premiers, beginning in March. Each episode will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook and cover a specific gameplay update in this year’s game.
