Hi-Rez Studios officially unveiled Kestrel as the latest combatant to join Rogue Company, along with additional Season One details.

Original founder and former member of Rogue Company, Kestrel, has come out of retirement to join the cast of Hi-Rez Studio’s multiplayer shooter. In addition to the new Rogue, Hi-Rez launched Rogue Company’s Season One Ranked Season and the game’s very first Battle Pass.

As one of the latest titles to throw its hat into the ring of hero shooters, Rogue Company features similar mechanics to established games like Apex Legends and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. After entering open beta last fall, Rogue Company has since released minor content updates as it fine-tuned its mechanics. This marks a major step forward for the franchise as it commences Season One, featuring the release of Kestrel.

One of the founding members of Rogue Company, Kestrel is returning to the battlefield equipped with two brand new primary weapons, a salvo of deadly drones, and enough cash to buy out the armory. The Riptide Assault Rifle and the Knight SMG make their Rogue Company debuts, as well as the deadly Kukri melee weapon. Kestrel’s active ability, Halo Drones, deploys a swarm of drones that fire a barrage of rockets in whatever direction she is currently facing. As a passive ability, Kestrel earns $1000 extra cash per down, allowing her to make big equipment purchases early and often.

As Rogue Company enters Season One, players can look forward to expanding their collection of cosmetics during the game’s very first Battle Pass. There is both a free and premium version of the battle pass, the latter of which includes 50 rewards earned by playing matches. The Premium Pass costs 1000 Rogue Bucks and includes The Fixer’s One Shot One Kill outfit as an instant reward. Fans can also opt to purchase one of three new high-value bundles – Rogue Edition, Year 1 Pass, and Ultimate Edition – that include access to both previously released and future Rogues.

Additional Season One features include a new limited-time mode, Sabotage, and a revamped Ranked system. Players can log into Rogue Company today to explore the Season One update and test out Kestrel for themselves.

Rogue Company is out on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
