The Infinite Stim Glitch may be finally leaving Call of Duty: Warzone, as developers promise a fix is on its way in the next few updates.

The Call of Duty: Warzone community has been battling against the "infinite stim glitch" since the item was added to the game. Despite several patches, the stim glitch continues to make an appearance, and the Call of Duty: Warzone community is quickly growing tired of dealing with this problematic item.

Four distinct patches have been applied to Call of Duty: Warzone's tactical stim shot, but the item still manages to cause problems. From players realizing they can use infinite ammo boxes to a night-vision bug allowing the glitch to spawn, the bug continues to find a way around each patch.

Recently, a member of the Call of Duty: Warzone Raven Software development team confirmed that a fix is scheduled for the stim glitch. In the short message, TheMumenGamer confirmed that Raven Software is aware that the bug is active, giving hope to fans dealing with the bug. While it is unknown exactly what patch Raven Software has in mind, their continued focus on the issue proves that the problem could be going away very soon. While some fans do remain skeptical, there is not much the Call of Duty: Warzone community can do other than wait and see what happens.

Many fans would prefer that the stim shot item is completely removed from the game. While this would be an easy fix for the problem, the developers seem to be hesitant in removing any content. Call of Duty: Warzone tends to try and balance every update, and by simply removing the stim shot, there is no telling what damage could be done in its place.

Other fans point out that the infinite stim glitch affects more than just stim shots. Players have used it for infinite flashbangs, smoke grenades, and decoys, all of which can cause chaos in a final round. Call of Duty: Warzone's content creators have often pointed this out as a way to contest the theory of removing stim shots.

While it is not clear exactly how the upcoming patch will handle the issue, the community remains adamant that something must be done. For a bug to still be impacting Warzone months after it was discovered is, in many player's minds, a completely unreasonable problem. The community is tired of hearing empty promises of an update, and many are hoping that this next fix will finally end the reign of infinite stim usage.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
