In Hitman 3, challenges provide players with different ways of completing missions. These challenges include different ways to assassinate a target, disguising Agent 47 as key characters, or exiting a mission by boat. While Agent 47 is sneaking around Thornbridge Manor, during the Death in the Family Mission in Dartmoor, he has a chance to complete the Nothing as it Seems Challenge. Nothing as it Seems tasks Hitman 3 players with taking a photo of Alexa Carlisle during the family meeting.
Completing the Nothing as it Seems Challenge will award Hitman 3 players with 2000 XP towards their mastery of the Death in the Family Mission. This guide will be starting at the Main Road Startling Location. Players who have access to the Staff Room Starting Location may start there. This guide will pass by the Staff Room, making it an optional starting point. While this may be one of the easier challenges in Hitman 3, it will not be quite as fast as completing some other Hitman 3 missions.

From the Main Road, Agent 47 should follow the road towards the gate with two security guards, where a private investigator is gaining entry. Players can either take out these guards when the gate opens, or they may head right from the gate, along the brick wall, to find an opening that Agent 47 can vault over. Once on the Thornbridge Manor grounds, head towards the Manor.
Agent 47 will find himself staring down another short wall, but there is a spot to vault over, towards the left corner. Head right towards the parked cars, then left towards the Thornbridge Manor stairs. Enter the manor through the open window on the right. The staff room will be on the right.
From the window next to the Staff Room, at the end of the hallway, Agent 47 will come across a maid cart with a closet just to the right. Players will want to locate the Fuse Cell sitting on a shelf in this closet. Players may also use the nearby vacuum as a distraction to gain the attention of a staff member, and steal his disguise. Disguised as mansion staff, Agent 47 will need to make his way to the north end of Thornbridge Manor, towards the Garden.
Upon reaching the Garden, Hitman 3 players will encounter a photographer who needs to take a photo of the Carlisle family; however, he needs a Fuse Cell to gain power. Players need to follow this photographer to a fuse box and then place the Fuse Cell in the fuse box. Watch the family photo to trigger the family meeting required to complete the Nothing as it Seems Challenge.
After Hitman 3 players finish watching the Carlisle family photograph, the family will make their way inside for the family meeting. Follow the family, remaining undetected. Once the family is all seated in the Sitting Room, wait for Alexa Carlisle to speak. Hitman 3 players need to use Agent 47’s camera to snap a photo of Alexa Carlisle during this meeting. Players standing around the edge of the Sitting Room may need to use the zoom on the camera to get a clear photo of Alexa Carlisle.
After snapping a clear image of Alexa Carlisle, players should notice the completion of the Nothing as it Seems Challenge. Once complete, players may finish other challenges, such as, Don’t Rock the Boat, before finishing the Death in the Family mission.
Hitman 3 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
