The bow is one of Eivor's most useful tools, allowing her to take enemies down from afar without being noticed. Although Assassin's Creed Valhalla players don't really have to use a bow very often, they can make certain situations much easier to handle. Getting one of the best bows in Valhalla can make progressing through the story a breeze, but now players have found what very well could be the best bow in the game. The Isu bow, also called Noden's Arc, was initially discovered by way of an exploit that allowed players to brute force their way through a complex puzzle, but now the legitimate way to get it has been uncovered.
The puzzle that led to this bow was a long one that required many minds to solve. It involved translating the ancient Isu language into modern day english, using that translation to decode text found on the physical collector's edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and more. Rather than focusing on all of that, here's how players can get Noden's Arc for themselves.

Assuming players want to get the Isu bow legitimately, the first step is to find the sword Excalibur. For those wondering how to get Excalibur in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, it is a multi-step process that is a journey in and of itself. Players need to hunt down all 11 Treasures of Britain that are scattered across England by solving puzzles and defeating powerful Zealots, and then they can go and claim the sword. Take this sword to the rock located in Eurvicscire on a small island southeast of the fast travel point called Brunton Turret. Here they should find an unbreakable rock, but with Excalibur in hand, they can break it if they wait until sunset and time their strike so that it lands right as the sun sets.
For those that want to obtain Valhalla's secret bow without doing any hard work, the exploit used to get it is still functional at the time of writing. Head to the rock and equip any weapon and swing at the rock. After the strike connects, players need to pause the game and create a new save file. Load this new save file and swing yet again, repeating the last step by pausing and making another new save file. After loading the second new file, the rock should be destroyed, and Noden's Arc should be in the player's inventory.
Though either of these methods work right now, it's very likely that this exploit will get patched out eventually. These types of secrets are supposed to be incredibly difficult to solve and equally rewarding, so it makes sense that the developers wouldn't want players to get it as soon as they get to England. Beyond that, Access the Animus worked hard to decipher the Isu language. Regardless, the Noden's Arc bow will be a powerful weapon in Eivor's arsenal from here on out.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
