Square Enix announces three new upcoming Final Fantasy 14 minion figurines for its store, which includes Y'shtola and Estinien.

Those looking to show off their fandom for Final Fantasy 14 will soon be able to adorn their shelves with new figurines of three of the game's most prominent characters. The Square Enix store updated its merchandise with Y'shtola, Estinien, and Ryne Minon figurines, each showing off how they look currently in the game's story. They aren't particularly tiny, either.

Each of the three Final Fantasy 14 figurines is approximately 8.7" with the accompanying stand and they contain a lot of detail. The characters are made in a chibi style which means, as the store page confirms, they're cute. The wrists and necks can be adjusted slightly, giving a modicum of freedom to pose them. The release date for all three is scheduled for August 2021 and they are available for pre-order now for $59.99.

The long-running MMORPG has been around since 2013 and is currently available on Windows, OS X, and two PlayStation systems. But it will soon be coming to Sony's next-gen system as well. A Final Fantasy 14 PS5 open beta release date was recently announced and is currently slated for April 13th. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer that showcased the game working on the PS5 with 4K resolution and quick load times.

The news came at the tail end of the Final Fantasy 14 Announcement Showcase, where Square Enix previewed the future of the game. The biggest thing to come from the event was the reveal of the MMO's next expansion: Endwalker. This will be the game's fourth expansion and the conclusion of its current storyline. As expected, it will include loads of new content and features, as well as two new jobs for players to experience.

Over the next few months, Square Enix will unveil more information on the expansion. This might include more information on changes to the crafting and gathering professions, which are a vital part of the game's economy. There is a lot coming to the game this year, so players will want to keep an ear to the ground for all of the new announcements.

Final Fantasy 14 is currently available on PC and PS4, with PS5 support planned for later this year. Endwalker will release in the fall.
