There have been a lot of unique fan-made projects in the last few months, from Tomb Raider travel posters to a cardboard Link from The Legend of Zelda. However, Nerds' Kitchen brought things into a whole new edible arena with a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas chilli dog.
These chilli dogs aren't the first instance of a fan project venturing into the kitchen, as only a few months ago Twitter user Sugar High Score created an Among Us cake, but the GTA recipe is probably one of the easiest video game foods for non-bakers to try at home. Luckily, Nerds' Kitchen not only comes up with video game-related dishes, but also shares its recipes with fans.

It appears the developers at Rockstar Games are fans of the spicy dog too, as the gaming giant recently wrote a blog post about it. While the company usually uses its blog to make announcements about its roster of games, like the recent Grand Theft Auto Online player milestone, it's not unheard of for some interesting fan art to show up in a post from time to time. In fact, Nerds' Kitchen has been featured on the blog before with a rendition of the Cluckin' Bell Balls & Rings dish from the GTA series.
While chili dogs have become closely associated with Sonic the Hedgehog, they do feature prominently in Grand Theft Auto as a street food that can be purchased to replenish some health. Nerd's Kitchen doesn't promise its chilli dogs will make anyone stronger in real life, but it does offer a unique and tasty way to enjoy the 2004 GTA game in a new way.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available now for Mobile, PC, PS2, and Xbox.
