Though FromSoftware released Bloodborne back in 2015, its player base has proven to be one of the most dedicated in gaming history. SuperGroupies is a company known for releasing fashionable statement pieces themed around video games. The mature Bloodborne fan base and SuperGroupies’ quality merchandise may be the perfect match.
The new Bloodborne product is an intricate black and gold colored watch valued at $300. The strap is made of genuine leather with stainless steel and brass detailing on the body of the watch. The self-winding watch is adorned with numerous accents reminiscent of the world of Bloodborne. The base of the watch was designed to imitate the detailed patterns seen in the battle with Maria at Astral Clocktower. Numerous overlapping and interlocking gears pay homage to the gothic era styling of Bloodborne’s architecture. Featured on the watch is a sun and moon display which reflects the time of day. In addition to the watch, the company released two other products. These include a classy backpack and a pure leather wallet featuring embossed Karel characters.

This is the first collaboration between SuperGroupies and the Bloodborne franchise. The watch is made to order but currently SuperGroupies has an indefinite hold on purchases of its Bloodborne collection. Bloodborne, and its sister series Dark Souls, are no strangers to expensive merchandise. TORCH TORCH has a history of releasing expensive jewelry for both series. In the past Bloodborne had a "Cainhurst" badge necklace available priced at over $200. Dark Souls also enjoyed various replicas of its stat-boosting rings. The dedication of the Bloodborne fanbase is the guiding force behind the support these items received . Even after 6 years of waiting "SoulsBorne" fans are still holding out hope for a Bloodborne 2 despite no confirmation of a sequel from FromSoftware.
Fans are sure to be excited by the luxurious new merchandise. Bloodborne fans are known to be an older demographic and SuperGroupies products maintain a level of class which makes them viable investments, even as professional workwear. The expensive price tag on the watch is justified when compared to the cost of other luxury timepieces.
Despite the competitive cost and forecasted supportive fan-base, there remains a segment of the fanbase who appear to have issues with the collection as some fans online are already expressing disappointment over the designer price tag. Excitement for the products may fade as it is currently sold out for the foreseeable future.
