The Super Bowl may have looked a bit different this year, but there were still a few trailers to entice film fans for 2021 releases.

Sunday, February 7 was this year's Super Bowl, one of the biggest television nights of the year- especially for advertisers. Though this year's looked a little different to Super Bowls seen in the past, there were still a good amount of new high profile commercials as well as five new movie trailers.

While 2020, and possibly 2021, has been a bit of a lackluster year for film, new trailers are always exciting for film buffs and some new looks at very highly anticipated films came out last night. Though films continue to get pushed back and suffer limited releases, there are still movies to get excited about.

In its only 30 second slot, as most of these trailers are, this tiny look at M. Night Shyamalan's Old manages to really make an impression. It looks wild, to say the least. The trailer seems to show a family on a beach holiday, when one of the children goes missing and comes back as a teenager. Other members of the group look like they also start to rapidly age and some other crazy stuff starts to go down with the people on the beach. It's incredibly intriguing and definitely looks very unique and scary.

Shyamalan's works tend to be incredibly loved or incredibly hated, and until they come out it's hard to tell which it'll be. Is Old another The Sixth Sense or is it another The Happening? Hopefully, this very intriguing trailer pans out into an equally great film.

Old  is set to be released July 23, 2021

The original Coming to America is a very well-loved film, and this sequel is very long-awaited. Though fans are skeptical that the same magic will be created with Coming 2 America over 30 years later, this trailer makes the sequel look like a lot of fun and a great feel-good film in a time where people really need one.

The trailer shows Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy), who is soon to be crowned King of Zamunda, and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) coming back to America after Akeem learns that he has a son he had never known about named Lavelle. There are some great looks at Zamunda and the family that Akeem has built since the events of the first film that make this one look pretty different while still maintaining the characters and tone from the original. It looks a lot of fun, and while it's not a particularly mysterious trailer it doesn't give everything away either. Fans of the original, and movie lovers in need of a fun comedy, should be excited about this one.

Coming 2 America will be released on Amazon Prime on March 5, 2021

Disney's newest animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon has had a few trailers released prior to this one, and while the 30-second preview doesn't really give us any new information it's still a very cool-looking movie.

From what's known of Raya and the Last Dragon so far, it follows a warrior girl named Raya from the Kumandra as she tracks down the last surviving dragon left in the world. Together, they have to stop sinister monsters called Druun from destroying humanity.

This trailer does sort of feel slightly unnecessary, as there have been other trailers released for this movie before and this one doesn't give any new information. However, the movie looks so cool and the character designs and animation are absolutely stunning. This short little trailer does a lot to showcase the beauty of the movie and that is something that will get fans of animation, and Disney, very excited.

Raya and the Last Dragon will be released in theatres and on Disney Plus with Premier Access on March 5, 2021

This 30-second trailer for Ilya Naishuller's Nobody does succeed in showcasing a lot of the film's action and lead actor Bob Odenkirk's comedic timing. However, this trailer is relatively forgettable as well as kind of confusing because it doesn't give any information as to what the film is about.

A description for the film describes that it's about a father who fails to properly defend his family during a home invasion, which triggers his violent instincts and has him get involved with dangerous people and start a life of crime. This trailer doesn't really give the audience any of that. While the movie might still be great, it's unclear if audiences would be all that invested in seeing it based on this trailer alone.

Nobody comes to theatres on April 2, 2021

Fans are so excited for F9 that this trailer could have been basically anything and it still would have gotten a lot of hype. However, it's entirely unnecessary and seemingly more of a reminder that the movie is coming out in case audiences might have forgotten.

The movie is the ninth installment in the incredibly popular Fast & Furious franchise. In this one, Dominic (Vin Diesel) and his gang have to battle his evil younger brother Jakob (John Cena) who is working with their former foe Cipher (Charlize Theron). Unfortunately, F9 was originally set to be released nearly two years ago but because of multiple issues, it kept getting pushed back.

The trailer gives absolutely no information and is essentially a montage of flashes of character's faces and some car crashes. Objectively, that's not a great trailer. However, people are still incredibly hyped for this film so it doesn't really make a difference and it still looks very fun.

F9 is scheduled for release on May 28, 2021
