Players who enjoy Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's unique battle royale experience should give these games a try.

There is no game out there that is quite like Fall Guys. The Mediatonic and Devolver Digital game combines the craziness of a battle royale with the fun of a platformer. The wild party game also has a cute casual aesthetic that makes it welcoming enough for all players.

Despite this unique combination, there are plenty of games out there that are similar to Fall Guys. None are exactly like the popular game of the summer, but they all pull elements that could scratch a particular itch for players. From platforming to mini-games and physics-based fun, here is a list of games Fall Guys fans should try.

Updated February 8th, 2021 by Stephen LaGioia: Whether competitive or cooperative, heavily-populated online gaming romps are becoming increasingly popular, particularly during this era of semi-quarantine, which has gamers itching to connect. This, combined with its feverishly addictive gameplay, has allowed Mediatonic's Fall Guys to continue to flourish several months after its release. A trickling of events, crossovers, and limited-time rewards has also given players incentive to keep returning for more BR platforming chaos, keeping the game's momentum going. As such, it seemed like a good idea to update this list with even more games that should whet the appetite of Fall Guys fans.

13 Overcooked 2

Building on the foundation of its charming predecessor from 2016, Team17 has again served up a winner with this even meatier sequel. Overcooked 2 sticks to the enjoyable formula – frenzied co-op gameplay that has chefs working together as they race against the clock to whip up delectable dishes.

At the same time, gameplay additions and refinements – such as a handy new throwing mechanic – bring an added appeal to this robust follow-up, drawing Overcooked vets and newcomers alike. A slew of new chefs, more dynamic stages, and trickier recipes flesh out this fun, family-friendly party romp.

Meanwhile, the game's addictive online mode adds even more replay value, inspiring marathon sessions of virtual cooking.

12 Pikuniku

Devolver Digital has a strong line-up of games they have published. Fall Guys isn't the only game by them that involves platforming and adorable characters. Pikuniku is a puzzle-adventure game where players are Piku, a creature who lives in a cave who travels to a nearby village.

The village traps Piku in a cage because they think he is a monster. But after fixing up their bridge, Piku begins to be liked by the citizens, who ask for his help in defeating Mr. Sunshine, a greedy man who wants to steal natural resources for money. The game can be played cooperatively as well.

11 Among Us

The bean-shaped characters of Fall Guys are very unique, but there are games that also use similarly silly player designs as its appeal. Take Among Us as a prime example. As very round astronauts, four to ten players must work together to prepare their spaceship for takeoff.

However, there is at least one astronaut in the mix that is hellbent on killing everyone before they are successful. The imposter can frame other players, sneak through secret tunnels, and blend in before they strike.

10 Stick Fight

What's the opposite of a bean? How about sticks? Stick Fight is true to its name. It's a fighting game that pits up to four stick figure players against each other in a physics-based combat system. With over 100 different levels, each fight takes place on a random stage with specific weapons dropping for players to pick up.

Each battle is short, so a new stage will generate every time one stick figure is left standing. There's also a level editor where players can create their own battleground and share it with the world.

9 Fortnite

On the subject of battle royales, no game has taken the world by storm quite like Fortnite. Although the title has dipped in popularity since its initial rise, it still provides a fun and unique experience.

The battle royale mode works like many others, as 100 players land in a shrinking map and must collect resources. The gimmick of Fortnite, however, involves being able to construct structures at a rapid pace to create shelter or prevent players from advancing. The game can be played alone or with allies.

8 Pummel Party

Back to the party genre front, knocking out people is the premise of Pummel Party. In the game's main board mode, the goal is for players to move around the board and collect items and weapons that will help them progress through the board and the mini-games.

All the while, players need to target each other and knock each other out by using these tools of destruction. Mini-games vary from straight-up knockout rounds to buried treasure hunts. Up to eight players can play at once, but the game can be played with bots as well.

7 Soviet Jump Game

Another not-as-popular battle royale game that may appeal to Fall Guys fans, Soviet Jump Game, developed by Fantastic Passion and published by Game Grumps, is an indie platformer that doubles as a battle royale.

50 "comrades" scatter throughout a large 2D level. Players must collect power-ups in order to survive attacks and take out players on their own. The round will last until two people remain, then a fight to the death occurs in a small 2D arena. The game is perfect for those who want a more laid back yet exciting battle royale experience.

6 Golf With Your Friends

Mini-golf can be equally as fun and just as frustrating as Fall Guys, and Golf With Your Friends is the perfect game that encompasses that. Up to 12 friends can come together and play a round of golf on any of the themed courses the game has.

There are also custom courses that players can create on their own or download online. The game also features different game modes like in Fall Guys. Instead of regular mini-golf, there's also basketball and hockey modes on the golf courses.

5 BattleBlock Theater

While it may lack the third dimension and the craziness of 60-player showdowns, The Behemoth's BattleBlock Theater feels like a spiritual predecessor to Fall Guys in many ways. Cartoony platforming wackiness? Check. Fast-paced, competitive face-offs? Yep! Ultra-addictive gameplay that's easy to get into and tough to master? Check that one too.

Whether online or local, BattleBlock offers a solid foundation for countless hours of pure, unadulterated multiplayer fun. A slew of unique game modes – such as King of the Hill and the Splatoon-esque Color The World – ensure there will rarely be a dull moment to be had in this colorful party game.

4 Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment's surprise hit has seen its share of ups and downs since its breakout launch in February 2019. Yet, the studio has managed to step up to the plate and bring much of its audience back, with its stream of updates, refinements, and enticing additions. This constant flow of alterations, coupled with the game's dynamic nature, gives Apex Legends a sense of fluidity that offers a unique experience each time players lock and load.

Apex's blend of intense BR rulesets and hero-based FPS gameplay round out a competitive experience that's thrilling and appealing. Like Fall Guys, the game is tough to put down, as players yearn to be the last one standing in this massive skirmish. A range of Legends and satisfying weapons – along with rotating challenges and cosmetic rewards – keep fans coming back for more action.

3 Human Fall Flat

For the physics-based platforming crowd, Human Fall Flat is perfect for players that enjoy goofy parkour and puzzle-solving. Players take on the roles of blobby creatures looking to go from one end of a level to another. Along the way, each level presents challenges that players need to work together to solve.

Levels range from being short and sweet to taking nearly a half hour to complete, especially if only one player is doing them. The game has the hilarity of Fall Guys without the competition.

2 Ultimate Chicken Horse

Building structures is also the main element of Ultimate Chicken Horse, but this time it's to get to the goal in a platforming level. The 2D-style game for up to four players tasks each of them with adding parts to a platforming level. Together, the group will build an obstacle course that will be so hard to get through that only a few may be successful.

Players are rewarded if they are able to finish and their friends can't. Along with playing as silly animal characters, this game mixes the cute aesthetic with complicated platforming that Fall Guys holds dear to its gameplay.

1 Gang Beasts

Want another derpy game that pits silly creatures against each other? Gang Beasts fits like a glove. While not a battle royale, the fighting game uses blobby creatures similar to Human Fall Flat and pits them against each other in a series of knockout matches.

The game adds to the ridiculousness of the gameplay by setting battles up in absurd places like on top of trucks and on a Ferris Wheel. Users can choose to play with friends or random individuals. If players are struggling with Fall Guys, Gang Beasts is a perfect place to let off some steam in a hilarious way.
