The Crow, otherwise known as Uldren Sov, is an important and controversial character in Destiny 2. Here's everything you need to know about him.

Destiny 2 is a fantastic game that has kept players glued to their screens since it released. With its latest DLC pack being released, more players than ever before have been going through the game to experience this new content.

The Forsaken has an interesting storyline that follows the story of Uldren Sov, otherwise known as The Crow. He is a fascinating character, brother to a queen, and has a lot of hidden depth for players to discover during their adventures.

Spoiler Alert: There are a few facts here that could lead to spoilers of The Forsaken DLC pack. Players that want to play through it completely unspoiled should proceed with caution!

10 He Is "The Queen's Brother"

While his sibling is of course mentioned within this storyline, it's important to remember he's the Queen's brother to put some pieces of the game's lore together. Before The Forsaken was released, he was only ever referred to as "The Queen's Brother" in-game. He's mentioned this way quite a bit in the House of Wolves expansion, so go back to play it and keep those eyes peeled!

9 He Is The Crow, Not A Crow

Crows can be everything from people to devices that are sent out to spy on various activities throughout the universe. The Crow is, well, The Crow! His official title is the Master of Crows which distinguishes him from all of the other members of Reef's intelligence network. He's the top dog (or top crow as it were) that everyone else reports to.

8 The Location Of His Crashed Ship

It's actually possible to find Uldren's crashed ship. It's in the Glacial Drift location on Mars and is located in the Ma'Adim Subterrane Lost Sector. It's really cool to check out before diving into the full questline with Uldren.

The funny thing is that The Forsaken actually fixed a continuity error involving the crashed ship. The original location didn't actually match the storyline so it was retconned to say that he repaired his ship only to crash it again. Seriously, we wouldn't give Uldren a driver's license.

7 His Loyalty To His Sister

Uldren's largest goal in life is to serve his sister, Mara Sov. He loves his sister more than anything else, which makes one of the scenes players encounter in the game all the more haunting. As he is eventually overwhelmed by the Voice of Riven players can hear him crying out to his sister for help. It's absolutely heartbreaking and a serious moment that will leave tears in players' eyes.

6 He Hates All Guardians

Uldren has a deep hatred of all Guardians and goes out of his way to antagonize them at any given opportunity. He habitually states that "Rasputin shot the Traveler" and doesn't even believe a Guardian could find and take down a Vex Gate Lord. He is always angry to hear his sister is growing an alliance with the Guardians. Still, he keeps silent about this around her, out of respect for his sibling.

5 He Is The First Awoken Main Antagonist

The Awoken are a humanoid race that descended from the people on the colony ship Yang Liwei that disappeared during the collapse. Uldren is the first Awoken to have such prominence in the storyline of Destiny 2. They look like otherworldly beings, which adds to their mystique, and it's awesome to see the possibility of them having bigger parts in the story into the future.

4 Who Killed Him Remains A Mystery

At the end of Uldren's storyline, a Guardian and Petra have their weapons aimed at him but the scene cuts out before anyone can see who took him down. It leads to a serious mystery in the game that players have yet to solve. It's seriously a who shot first scenario.

The Guardian has the Ace of Spades and Petra used the Vestian Dynasty, but the gunshot sounds that are heard don't actually match either weapon. It's possible it's a weird combination of both sounds combined at once, so perhaps they both fired the shot.

3 He Is The Founder Of The House Of Dusk

For a long time, fans thought that Uldren was the highest leader, or at least a leader of some kind, of the House of Dusk. There's a lot of clues that point to this, but it's not quite the case. He is in fact the founder of the House of Dusk, but not their leader. It's still implied that he is heavily revered by the Fallen, some of them even bowing to him in the game, but he is, in fact, not their leader.

2 His Corruption By The Darkness

Throughout The Forsaken, players can see Uldren's eyes slowly turning completely black. His actions become more unhinged to the point where he would even consider betraying his own sister and form alliances with The House of Kings and the Fallen Scorn. His descent is a depressing one and it's a good lesson in not going over to the dark side.

1 He Becomes What He Despised

Uldren hated the Guardians but in the end, he is resurrected as a Lightbearer by a  Ghost named Pulled Pork. His memories have been completely wiped clean so he can't remember anything, especially why people seem to despise him who he meets. It's very sad to see, and there's no way to know how he turns out in the future, but we do hope he manages to find a happier life.
