Many players will access the No Time To Explain pulse rifle in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, but some will need this Soon guide to unlock the catalyst.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light sees players exploring an open universe full of planets and enemies. Part of the appeal for fans is finding tons of armor and weapons to customize for their Guardians. One of the missions in the newest expansion involves a weapon No Time To Explain. After acquiring this gun in Destiny 2, players will want to get the catalyst to buff it up. Check out this guide for beating the Soon quest and getting this modification.

The first thing that needs to be done to start this quest is to complete the Beyond Light campaign. After doing so, head to the Exo stranger and she will give you the gun No Time To Explain. A reference to the first Destiny, the pulse rifle comes with a new ability. During use, No Time To Explain will spawn a small portal that unloads shots and defends the Guardian from enemies. Upon receiving the weapon, players will also get the Soon quest.

To complete the first step, bring up the Destination map and drop in on the one landing zone in Europa. Guardians need to find weapon schematics that can only drop from enemies in a Braytech Building. This happens to be the BrayTech Exoscience area near Cadmus Ridge. Explore the interior and taken out enemies to access the weapon schematic drops. Utilize the power of the Darkness to get past the various barriers throughout. After collecting five schematics, go back and speak to the Exo Stranger.

Now it's time to do what all Guardians are meant to do, kill even more enemies. For this step, players need to hunt down new Vex enemies in three different areas in Europa. Look for the Nexus, Well of Infinitude, and the Glassway regions. Towards the east side of the main map, find 60 Vex and take them all out. Make sure to use No Time To Explain, or else the kills will not count towards the quest.

After completing this step, players are close to unlocking the weapon's catalyst. Once again Guardians will need to venture back to the Exo Stranger to turn in the Soon quest. Upon doing so, the catalyst will become available. The thing is, there is still one final part for applying the modification to the gun. Players will need to find the best place for farming kills and get somewhere between 700-1000 eliminations with No Time To Explain. This will make the catalyst available for use, and buff the special portal to fire more often. While not the most complex quest in Destiny 2, the Soon mission is one that can require some effort for Guardians to complete.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
