In a recent Tweet, Bungie confirms a new bug has delayed the launch of one of the returning Cosmodrome strikes for Season 13 of Destiny 2.

Season 13 launched earlier this week and for the most part, it seems to be a hit with Destiny 2 players. In addition to a new storyline featuring the return of the Cabal under new Empress Caiatl, players have plenty of new content to dig into including the matchmade Battlegrounds activity. In addition, there's new loot and exotics to chase such as the incredibly strong Cuirass of the Falling Star. This season also promised the return of two classic strike missions from the original Destiny, though there appears to be some issues that Bungie is trying to work out.

Teased last year, Bungie announced that the Season of the Chosen would be seeing the Devil's Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strikes being revamped and added to the Destiny 2 playlist. However, the two have seemingly caused a lot of confusion for players with missing voiceover audio and the two strikes being overly hard to find outside of the Nightfall. As it turns out, the main reasons for many of these issues are bugs.

In a new Tweet from the Bungie Help account, it was revealed that the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strike was being removed from the Destiny 2 strike playlist temporarily. As it turns out, Fallen S.A.B.E.R. may have just been delayed behind the scenes entirely as there appears to be an issue that causes players to be blocked during the strike, so the strike is currently unavailable without a window for release. Thankfully, it seems like players won't have to wait too long as the issue has been found and a fix is being worked on.

WHile that should solve at least some of the confusion as to where that strike actually is, Bungie is also going a step further inside of next week's update. the other Destiny strike, Devil's Lair, is getting a dedicated launch node from the Director Map inside of the Cosmodrome as well as officially getting added to the Vanguard Strikes playlist, making it much easier for players to experience. Currently, it is only available as a Nightfall option.

In terms of the Cosmodrome itself, most fans were under the impression that the zone would eventually mirror the size it once was in the first Destiny. That also seemed to be Bungie original goal, as the studio did mention it last summer during the Future of Destiny event, though it appears that those plans have been scrapped. In the weekly blog post, it was confirmed that in order to continue creating content for Year 4, fleshing out the Cosmodrome further just wouldn't be possible. The studio opted to focus on creating new content rather than spend valuable resources focusing on legacy stuff.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
