Destiny 2 players are skilled at finding new ways to instantly eliminate bosses in the game. When new and exciting exotics enter the game, most immediately start figuring out all the things it can do. Introduced at the start of season 13, the latest Titan exotic called Cuirass of the Falling Star appears to already be hiding some powerful traits as those using it are demonstrating the ability to fly through lost sectors and even one phase raid bosses.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Season of the Chosen introduces a new Titan Exotic Chest piece, Cuirass of the Falling Star. The Cuirass of the Falling Star features the Exotic Perk, Glorious Charge, which greatly increases the Thundercrash impact damage, as well as grants the user an overshield that lasts longer the farther they travel before striking a target. Guardians everywhere are starting to find out just how powerful this new Titan exotic is.

Twitch Streamer Gladd showcased the Cuirass of the Falling Star in a few different encounters from the average Strike boss to Dul Incaru in the Shattered Throne proving that no enemy is safe from a Titan wearing the Cuirass of the Falling Star. In some fights, bosses may have immune phases that players typically need to work around before being able to continue damaging the boss. It turns out, that Guardians do not need to worry about immune phases if they can coordinate multiple Titans to Thundercrash into the boss, at the same time.
When it comes to testing the power of the Cuirass of the Falling Star, space seems the most logical place to do so. Gladd and his fireteam did just that, Thundercrashing Atraks-1 in the Deep Stone Crypt raid, with five Titans, instantly pushing the Fallen Exo into its last stand phase. At that point, the encounter is finished off by the last titan activating their super and Thundercrashing straight into Atraks-1, making the fight way easier than Bungie intended.
Content creator CoolGuy utilized the Cuirass of the Falling Star to fly through the entire Lost Sector on Nessus called The Orrery. He completed it in less than 20 seconds, with only one hit from the Titan Thundercrash, buffed by the Cuirass of the Falling Star.
The Cuirass of the Falling Star Exotic Titan Chest piece in Destiny 2 is available by doing Legend and Master Lost Sectors, the same method as the previous season 12 exotics such as Mask of Bakris. This new Cuirass of the Falling Star gives Titans an exotic that rivals the Hunter’s famed Exotic Helmet, Celestial Nighthawk. While Titans revel in their newfound boss-melting power, Warlocks and Hunters also have new Exotic Chest pieces to chase. The Mantle of Battle Harmony for the Warlocks and the Omnioculus for the Hunters are the two other exotic armor pieces introduced in Season of the Chosen.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
