Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is now out, and whether fans are diving into the game fresh or playing through the game again, there is a lot to offer. Reviews of Super Mario 3D World have been positive, with something for new and old fans alike. It has been 8 years since the original game, so a refresher on green stars to find in Super Bell Hill (level 1-1) is a good place to start.
When starting out, Super Bell Hill is a nice introduction to the mechanics of Super Mario 3D World, and shouldn't be too much of a challenge for players. But, right from the start players have a choice to make, and that is which character to use. Each character in Super Mario 3D World has slightly different skills, so that might be a factor, or fans go with their favorite.

In Super Bell Hill there are three green stars to collect as well as a stamp. They are fairly easy to collect, but could be missed if a player is speeding through the level too quickly. Super Mario 3D World seems fairly linear, but rewards players who take a few extra seconds to explore.
The first star can be found on top of a clear pipe early on in the level. When sliding through the pipe, the player will have to hold up to pop out of the top part of the clear pipe and collect the star.
The second star can be found right at the checkpoint. Players will have to chase down a small rabbit who will then give the player a green star for their effort.
Right after the checkpoint, players should be able to see a green warp pipe in the side of a hill. Enter the pipe and players will find the stamp sitting on top of a clear pipe.
The third star can be reached in one of two ways. Right above the green pipe, players can climb up to a plateau where they will find a large rabbit to catch. Doing so grants the player a Mega Mushroom. Players might not be as large as a Godzilla-sized Bowser, but it will still make them large enough to do damage. Taking that mushroom and running along the bridge further in the level, players will come to grey blocks that can be broken if the player is still giant size. Dropping down through those grey blocks will lead the player to the third and final star. Alternatively, players can wall slide down to the area and pick up the star.
This quick and easy guide should give players the knowledge they need to ace the first level in World 1 of 3D World. Super Bell Hill sets the tone for the game, and shows off Cat Mario nicely. It should come as no surprise that there is a new Cat Mario keychain available as part of the My Nintendo Rewards program. Cat Mario is a great addition to the power-up roster and is a blast to use in 3D World.
